1 TopicIntegrate Outlook with Microsoft Teams
I'm already able to see my calendar from Teams and I'd love to do the same with my email, then I'd have a true integration of all my communication channels at work in one window. I'm sure others have requested this already and I'm adding my vote to this.8KViews1like2CommentsFeature Request: Make the current day in Teams calendar visibily stand out
The current day in the calendar needs to visibly stand out among the other days. Like change its background color or something. I joined a wrong meeting today because I wasn't paying enough attention to where I clicked. I see the day number is a little bolder. There needs to be more visible cues to what day in the calendar is today's date. At least in Outlook's calendar the column bar's background is darker and the text color is revered. Do something similar.Solved7.1KViews0likes3CommentsThe main hard drive (the one C:\ is on) is showing as raw
OS: Windows 10 Enterprise The main hard drive (the one C:\ is on) is showing as raw. I got a bluescreen (wish I had recorded what it said on it before I restarted, but it's probably a moot point now) and tried to restart, but the laptop froze before Windows loaded. I did some diagnostic stuff using a recovery drive and it became apparent that something had happened to C (it was showing as a Raw drive named D). I reassigned the drive letters back to the correct ones but I can't find any way of indicating that the drive is not raw. The partitions are all there according to DISKPART (Recovery 300mb, System 100mb, Reserved 128mb, Primary 237gb, Recovery 663mb), and the System partition is still formatted, as when I list the volumes, I get a FAT32 with 100MB, but everything else is raw. Much of the drive is Bitlocker encrypted. I know there are 3rd party tools that claim to be able to recover things, but I am wary that it will render the drive inoperable, even if it will get my data back. I have most of my data backed up, I just want a functioning OS that has all of my applications.6.2KViews0likes10Comments[Feature Request] All Emoji for Reaction / Sentiment to a post
Right now, there are only 6 emoji (like, heart, laugh, surprise, sad, and angry) available for reaction or sentiment on another person's post or chat. It would be great if you could choose any emoji you wanted from the latest standard unicode emoji list.Solved5.2KViews2likes4CommentsCreating classes using powershell 2020
Hi, I'm using PowerShell to create classes in Teams and it works fine with the Microsoft Teams module version 0.9.6, which allow me to select the accurate template (EDU_Class). It's the only version that worked for me since the latest version doesn't allow you to define a template. So, to give you some context, I have to create multiple classes with multiple domains name, and this version doesn't allow you to specify the domain that you want, it uses the "Alias" parameter, example : New-Team -displayname "MyClassName" -Alias "class2020" -Template EDU_Class this command will create the class MyClassName with the following mail address : mailto:class2020@domain.fr The domain name is defined by default in the Microsoft tenant so you can only create classes for 1 domain at a time but this is not the main problem, the main problem is that I have multiple classes who are supposed to be called "class2020" but with different domain name, for example : mailto:class20@domain1.fr, mailto:class20@domain1.fr, mailto:class20@domain3.fr So when I try to create a team who has the same alias than another one (but with a different domain) it makes an error and it doesn't create the classes I want so I have to put something like : class20B to make it work and then I can change it manually through the Microsoft Administration platform, which is kind of annoying. Is there an other way to do this ? will there be an update allowing us to use the -Template parameter in a future version of the Teams module ? I'm hard of hearing so I depend on the live captions in MS teams during meetings. When asked to share the screen I have to juggle between windows to see the captions. Is there a way to see live captions while sharing the screen without having to go to the MS teams window? If not, can this feature be added into MS Teams?Solved3.7KViews0likes2CommentsFeature request: close pop-out chat and/or meeting windows with Ctrl+W
Per the new meeting experience, meetings and calls open in pop-up windows. Double-clicking a chat recipient opens the chat in a pop-up window. We can close these by Alt+F4 of course, but honestly I'd rather stay on home row and press Ctrl+W instead, a classic "close this instance" shortcut that's already used in Microsoft Office applications to close individual documents without exiting the entire program. Please add Ctrl+W as a keyboard shortcut to close pop-up windows. Thank you for the consideration.3.6KViews0likes1CommentDisabling Last Access Time in Windows Vista to improve NTFS performance
