Limit Forms editing in Teams group
I use a Form as a tab in Teams. By default in Teams, all members of the Teams group have edit access to the form. In practice, this leads to constant, un-desired modifications of the questions by members who are not familiar with the tool. They just dont know that for them filling out the forms requires to go to "Preview" (which is counter-intuitive). As a result, I have to undo all changes quite often. Looking for solutions : 1) How can we restrict r/w access to just a few owners 2) How can we display the preview mode as default ?
Cannot access MS Forms after making survey in Teams
I have noticed several times that after creating a survey using Forms in Teams, I cannot access Forms on the web. I get a "Your account is not enabled for Microsoft Forms" error message. I get the same error message if I try to add a Form as a tab in Teams. A few hours later I have access to Forms again as usual. It sounds really weird, but it has happened multiple times. I never have a problem accessing Forms unless I create a survey in Teams, so it has to be related somehow. I created the survey by clicking on the Forms add-on, not doing the quick poll with an "@Forms" mention or adding a Forms tab (see image).
Forms Poll not Sending During a Teams Meeting
Hi everyone , My Forms Poll won't send to my meeting chat during a meeting. It actually doesn't show up anywhere. I am providing my staff with PD and I want to make the PD more interactive with poll questions, but the poll doesn't show up when I hit "send." I would like it to show up in the chat, but it doesn't even show up in the channel posts outside of the meeting The meeting is in a specific channel and I can create the poll, but when I hit send nothing happens and no one (not even myself) can see the poll. If I try this on another personal channel during a pretend meeting it works fine. Is there something wrong with my work channel or does anyone know how I fix this? Thank you!
Forms on Teams: Quick poll issues
Hello everyone, Forms on some of our teams do not work properly. Usually when we use the format of "@Forms Q? A1, A2, A3" on a team channel, it automatically creates a quick poll (as expected). Some of our users report that this doesn't respond on certain teams. Has anyone witnessed this issue before? At the moment we do not have a direct answer for this. My tests conclude that the feature works on most other teams properly. It seems to be isolated to only certain ones. Thanks, and Happy Friday to all!Not everyone seeing Group Forms
Hey all, I'm having an issue with members of a SharePoint not seeing all the Group Forms that are put into it. They only see the Forms they were collaborating with originally and no one else in the Group Form can see them even though the Form is in Group Form. Most of these Group Forms were made in My Forms then transferred over to Group Forms. Is there an issue in the transfer process that causes people within the SharePoint to not see the Form even though it is in Group Form? Do we have to make the form within Group Forms in order for it to show up for all members of the SharePoint? Do we have to enable certain permissions in Sharepoint for people to view & edit the form? I've looked everywhere and no one seems to have an answer to the permissions problem in Group Forms. As an aside, I wish Forms would better spell out who has access to a Form and in what capacity (or just for collaboration) like every other Microsoft App with their share features. I posted a poll in microsoft teams within a chat and I clicked the box for names of respondants to be visable to the creator of the poll but I can't see where I get this information. The results show under the poll but only with how many people chose each answer, not who. how do I get this information?
