Inbox / Private messages broken on my profile
Hi, I'm trying to get informations regarding a case I opened 2 months ago and they are sent through private messages I can't open. I see that I have 97 unread messages but when I click on the icon, it just open the Inbox, try to load something for a while then just give up, leaving me there. Before someone tries to tell me that this is a cookie or cache issue, it is happening on several browsers, using normal or InPrivate session and on multiple computers so the problem is not there. After searching, it seems that I'm not the only one having this issue. Could someone have a look at it so I can reply to the people from Microsoft asking me informations in PM and not forcing me to ping them on LinkedIn? Kr, GéraldImpossible to sign in with different user account
I use this browser with two MS accounts. The techcommunity does not let me choose the user account to sign in with! I'm forced to open a private window to sign in and write this feedback. So when clicking Sign In, it thinks I want to sign in with my M365 company account, and asks me to accept certain permissions. However, I want to sign in with my personal MS account. So I click cancel and get redirected to the home page. So, in order to visit the site with my personal MS account, must either use a private windows, or clear every single cookie for every single Microsoft domain, which is also NOT what I want to do. This is simply unacceptable and driving me away from using the techcommunity at all! I made a video for you to show you how broken the sign in flow is: https://i.imgur.com/KnxnPKM.mp4
Sign in to Azure DevOps
The https://dev.azure.com URL redirects to the landing page for the Azure DevOps product. I used to promote this as an URL to use to login to the product. Since this year the page is missing the "Already have an account? Sing in to Azure DevOps" link. As far as I can see there is no way to login to Azure DevOps trough this interface now. There is the usual "sing in" in the top right, which will redirect you to the azure portal (or at least for me it does). How are we supposed to login to Azure DevOps? All, We are aware of higher than normal instances of unexpected errors this morning. This does not appear to impacting all users but users who are impacted may see a black bar asking you to report it to our team and quote a reference number. Users who experience this error may also encounter missing page elements i.e. no boards or blogs listed on corresponding pages. Update: This issue is not affecting all users, if you get an unexpected error then try again either from a different browser or device, even opening the page using the InPrivate mode can result in not getting this error. We are investigating this as a matter of urgency and will post updates here. Resolved: 10:00am GMT - The issue that caused this spike has now been resolved. Please remember unexpected errors can happen for a variety of reasons and so if you continue to receive them it does not mean this issue has resurfaced. Thanks and once again please accept our apologies for any disruption this event caused.Introducing Edge Master Password | New feature
it's this feature: it's controlled feature rollout available in Edge canary, was added few versions ago. this helps your passwords stay safe, by requiring you to enter your Windows Pin/Password when you want to autofill your credentials on a web page. using the same strong authentication method Windows uses to secure your login screen, secure your disks pre-logon etc. next in line is this I'm already seeing some bits of it in Edge canary, but not fully implemented just yet. This 'new' MTC platform has serious problems
We have had this 'new' platform for a while now and it still has serious usability issues: a) the auto-logout is infuriating. I can be active on the site and in the middle of reply and get logged out. what the heck. b) auto-logout part 2. when I get logged out initially my user name and icon will stay in upper right corner but the alert buttong shows new message but in reality it is that I was logged out c) login is buggy. sometimes when I login I get dumped into the main section and not even logged in so I repeat the exact same log in process again to get logged in and then have to re-navigate back to the forum/group I was in. d) the auto-moderator is a problem. for no apparent reason posts will be 'held' in limbo for days. there is no indicator to the user that their post is pending it just looks like it disappeared. e) it is extremely hard to navigate posts with many replies. On some threads there are numerous "see more" and literally spend minutes trying to find the most recent post in the thread (I literally have to first search for "show more" and click each and then search for "min" or "hour" to find recent post(s) there are sooo many more issues but at least this a start of my top 5 will there be any updates to this forum?
