This 'new' MTC platform has serious problems
We have had this 'new' platform for a while now and it still has serious usability issues:
a) the auto-logout is infuriating. I can be active on the site and in the middle of reply and get logged out. what the heck.
b) auto-logout part 2. when I get logged out initially my user name and icon will stay in upper right corner but the alert buttong shows new message but in reality it is that I was logged out
c) login is buggy. sometimes when I login I get dumped into the main section and not even logged in so I repeat the exact same log in process again to get logged in and then have to re-navigate back to the forum/group I was in.
d) the auto-moderator is a problem. for no apparent reason posts will be 'held' in limbo for days. there is no indicator to the user that their post is pending it just looks like it disappeared.
e) it is extremely hard to navigate posts with many replies. On some threads there are numerous "see more" and literally spend minutes trying to find the most recent post in the thread (I literally have to first search for "show more" and click each and then search for "min" or "hour" to find recent post(s)
there are sooo many more issues but at least this a start of my top 5
will there be any updates to this forum?

fully agree with first three.
"auto-moderator" - not sure. Yes, sometimes post doesn't appear right after Reply or Post was clicked. I usually refresh the page and it's here. In any case delay is not days and hours.
show new - what are your settings in profile?
As an example of the moderation issue, here is an example of someone trying to reply to my answer. I just received notification of a response today 2025-07-08 and there are 2 messages and I'm pretty sure I didn't see either before. The lower one says 5days ago and the upper one says 3 hours ago but in the text they specifically say the date was 2025-07-03 which is also 5 days ago.

Anyway, that's to MTC and Khoros teams. But I don't see any theire activities here. Hope Microsoft didn't cut MTC among other jobs they cut, but who knows.
thank you for reminding me about the settings, I will try that. I remember now I left it as Default to see how new/most users would see. So maybe the Default could be changed.
As for my comment (d) about the 'auto-moderation' I rarely find it being an issue for my posts but then again I have seen cases that my reply was 'ignored' when the OP responded to other post(s) only to have them respond to my post much later (i.e. as if they didn't see it at that time and didn't see it until later). I have also seen multiple cases where someone else complains about their post being deleted and re-posting the same message only to have both show up later on. I also find cases where new posts come up with 0 replies that I haven't seen yet but the original post is time stamped a day or more earlier.
hi m_tarler if you are referring MCT and if you are member of MCT. you might have seen announcement about delay in MCT due to system changes. currently site is undergoing changes and it takes some time. please write back to mct programme team and find out latest ETA to fix all above.
Hi and thank you. Sorry for the confusion, I am not a MCT (Microsoft Certified Traininer) and not referring to the MCT. I am referring to this Microsoft Tech Community (MTC) discussion board platform.
