I have a Word document created in Windows that was saved with the “Recommended Reading” option. When I open it in Word for iPad, the file is locked in reading mode and there is no option to switch to editing mode. Word Online can edit the document without any issues, so it seems that the limitation affects only the Word app for iPad. This appears to be a recent limitation, since the document could be edited without any issues a couple of months ago. Is this a known limitation in Word for iPad? Is there any way to remove this flag from the iPad or force editing mode without having to return to Windows? Thank you.34Views0likes4Commentsenrolling in Intune MacBook Pro with an M5 Pro
Hi everyone We have tested the Wi-Fi and ethernet profile without success with Apple businesses manager. The Wi-Fi and the ethernet connection itself works, but the enrollment process into Intune does not complete successfully. At this stage, we cannot sign in, and neither the Wi-Fi nor the Ethernet connection appears to be working. The device is a 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M5 Pro chip, running macOS 26.5.1 the device connects to the server, the settings begin to apply, but the process suddenly stops, and we are then unable to log in. These are steps followed : Synchronize the device from Apple Business Manager to Intune. Assign the enrollment profile to the device. Perform a device wipe/reset. Start Automated Device Enrollment (ADE). Complete the device setup and user sign-in. The device successfully enrolls into Intune. Intune begins deploying configuration profiles, compliance policies, security policies, and applications. During the policy application process, Wi-Fi connectivity stops responding. The device loses network connectivity and cannot continue synchronizing policies. We are unable to sign in because the enrolment process has not been finalized. As a result, we have to wipe the Mac and start the process again each time. We have disabled some policies, but we are still experiencing the same issue. Have anyone experienced any issues like that ? Regards,67Views1like1CommentDrawing on OneNote for IOs
I'm ready to give up on OneNote... it used to be good. I have two problems that regularly interrupt my work. The first problem I noticed was that when I double tap my Apple Pencil, although it is set to go to the eraser, it does that for a brief moment and then turns into that text-to-type pen. The second, and more important, problem, is that quite regularly all the drawing pens suddenly are greyed out and there is nothing I can do (other than possibly waiting a long time) to get them working again. The first problem I can work with, it's just annoying, the second has got me ready to shift my notes from OneNote. Has anyone got any suggestions for fixing either of these? The support crew have had me try the same things each week, and none of it works. Thanks in anticipation!50Views1like1CommentiOS 26.4 iPhone Contact Sync with Microsoft Exchange Online
For the past 2–3 weeks, several of our iOS users have been experiencing synchronization issues with Exchange contacts. Contacts intermittently disappear from their devices and then re-sync after some time. In some cases, the re-synchronization process is significantly delayed. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?362Views1like2CommentsIOS - Embedded Webkit - Not Reporting Correct Device info
It appears that with the latest iOS versions (26.3.1 through 26.4), applications that rely on an embedded WebKit for sign-in are no longer reporting accurate device details within Device Info. Users have company-issued phones that are successfully enrolled in Intune, but when they attempt to sign in to Apple Mail, Conditional Access is denying the login. After reviewing the logs, iOS is reporting the OS version as 18.7.0 to Intune, even though the device is actually running iOS 26.4. Additionally, the device information is coming through as blank, so attributes are not being evaluated. When looking at other logins via the outlook app on that device it all appears normal and works. Has anyone else observed this behavior where WebKit is sending incorrect data to Intune? Does anyone know of a workaround other than relaxing Conditional Access policies?Solved2.4KViews1like7Comments
