The pandas code read_excel() does not work in Python/Excel, unlike in native Python.
I have an issue when I try to read a specific workbook in Excel using pandas read_excel() The following code was tested natively and it worked: import pandas as pd pth = "C:/Users/XXXX/Python 101/SUBPATH/" input = "inputworkbook.xlsx" wb = pth + input df1 = pd.read_excel(wb, sheet_name="Sheet1", skiprows=1) When I try to execute it from an excel workbook, I got this error message : FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'C:/Users/XXXX/Python 101/SUBPATH/inputworkbook.xlsx' Could you explain me why it doesn't work the same ? Good evening, I am struggling to export a PowerPoint presentation to word. I have tried and I keep getting an error message come up which states 'PowerPoint couldn't write to Microsoft word.' However some slides appear converted and others do not. I have tried compressing images in order to reduce the file and still had no luck. I have been on the phone to someone from Microsoft for the last 30 minutes trying to resolve with no luck and they have directed me here. I need to export this for my studies as it is the only way it will be accepted and really need some help. I recently had some help from Microsoft as my tabs kept closing and changes were made to my computer so could have something to do with it. Please help 😕 I look forward to hearing from you. Office Insiders, Late last year, we told you about the new LAMBDA function (now rolling out to Office Current Channel Preview users), which enables you to create your own custom Excel functions. Now, Chris Gross, a Program Manager on the Excel Team is happy to announce seven new LAMBDA functions, as well as other improvements to the feature. Over the past several years, we have been “teaching” Excel how to understand new types of values. Some of the most recent additions have been data types (Wolfram, Geography, Stocks, Power BI, and Power Query) and dynamic arrays. LAMBDAs continue this effort by allowing Excel to understand functions as a value. (This was enabled by the introduction of LAMBDAs, but the capability was not initially exposed to any functions.) This is exciting, because it means that calculations which were previously very hard or even impossible to execute can now be achieved by writing a LAMBDA and passing it as a value to a function. See all seven new LAMBDA functions we're introducing areright here Cheers, Nathan Office Insider Community Manager Become an Office Insider and gaining exclusive access to new features and help shape the future of Office.
