How to revert back to mail from new outlook
On windows 10, inside the the old Mail app I accidentally clicked the try new outlook toggle and ended up in the new outlook app. I tried it, it required adding of all my emails accounts again. Some I have already lost access due to lost of password but the old email was still accessible in the old Mail app. I tried to toggle it off to return to the old Mail App but after I clicked it, opening the old mail app still opens the new outlook. Now I essentially lost a bunch of my old emails.damnwindowsMay 06, 2023Brass Contributor143KViews4likes56CommentsRemote assistance with Quick Assist is changing

I want to use my own domain with Microsoft 365 family Reading thishttps://support.office.com/en-gb/article/Get-a-personalized-email-address-in-Office-365-75416a58-b22...and having spoken to technical support this is only possible if I migrate my domain to GoDaddy. Like me (and some of my friends) do not want to migrate our domain hosting to just one party that allows 365 family version to work with own domains. Microsoft is essentially forcing all non business users to migrate to GoDaddy (where I have learned that migration often goes wrong and is more expensive) Does anybody know if Microsoft is changing the product offer anytime soon? so that I can useMicrosoft 365 Family with my own domain hosting provider?Jacob_KosterJan 05, 2021Copper Contributor96KViews2likes11CommentsErrors in Event Viewer

I've followed the following steps: https://insider.microsoft365.com/en-us/join/windows chose insider level "Beta channel" and installed insider builds, waited for it to install and then opened excel and still python for excel can not be found and typing '=PY' in the formula bar gives an error. Any idea where is that coming from ? P.S when I search for python in the search bar I get "insert python" option but nothing happens when I click on it ThanksSherbmanAug 22, 2023Brass Contributor44KViews15likes42CommentsWelcome to the Office Insider Community
Hello Office Insiders! While the Office Insider program is not new (it was announced in 2015!) and we've had a Microsoft Answers forum since our inception, we haven't had a place for Insiders to talk about announcements for the program. The time is now and we wanted to open this space to create conversations with you and build a closer connection. What will we use this space for? To tell you about new program developments - like the new Office Insider for Business section we just launched on our website! What will we *not* post here? We won't be posting our Build Updates here. Those will remain in the Microsoft Answers community. (The reason for this is because we need to be able to move these threads around to different forums within Answers for triage help from our experts.) If you have issues or problems with a build, please post your question in the Office Insider Answers community and you'll get help there! Also, don't forget to sign up for our newsletter. Follow us on Twitter. Read our blog. Stay connected! Again, we're happy you're here. We'd love to know your thoughts about being an Office Insider. What do you want to see from this program? What can we do better? How do you want us to connect with you? We are committed to building a community and having honest and respectful dialogue with Insiders like you! - The Office Insider Team -SolvedSusanCockrellJul 29, 2019Microsoft43KViews44likes74CommentsEasily switch between editing, reviewing, and viewing documents in Word
Kimberley Chua, Product Manager on the Word team is excited to share that they've made it even easier to switch between editing, reviewing, and viewing your documents in Word for Windows. Switch between editing, reviewing, and viewing Have you ever been concerned about making unintended changes while reviewing a file written by a colleague? Use Viewing mode and be assured that you won’t be able to type on the canvas while reading the document. Switch to Reviewing mode to turn on Track Changes Just Mine and leave behind tracked changes in the document (or leave comments) when you want to offer suggestions. We’ve updated Word for Windows so you can now easily change between modes with a couple clicks. How it works Open any Word document for which you have edit permissions. Click theEditingbutton in the ribbon (in the top-right corner, next to theSharebutton), and then clickReviewingorViewingto switch to a different way of working with your document. (NOTE:The button name will change based on the selected mode.) Check out the rest of the story on this awesome feature, right here. One of the features that I really like in the Outlook desktop apps is the ability to delay sending an email, that way I can take notes on the go and ensure the email only gets sent during business hours (to preserve digital work / life balance for my colleagues). A few tech platforms are introducing digital well being features, and think this feature could be really helpful. Note: Another limitation of the delay sending feature is that it requires the sender's machine to have the desktop app running (otherwise the message won't get out of your outbox).RobinCartierNov 09, 2019Brass Contributor39KViews9likes17Comments"New Outlook" not showing but on latest slow build for Mac
I have two Macs, both on Catalina. One is via work and uses Office 365 enterprise. On that Mac I have the latest slow insider build and I'm using the all new Outlook for Mac interface via the toggle. However, on my personal Mac that uses Office 365 for home, I'm also on the slow insider builds but do NOT have the toggle in Outlook. Specifically, my personal Mac is using Outlook 16.41.20091302. Any ideas? I really like the new look, but for the life of me the toggle is NOT appearing. The only difference I can think of, is that my personal Outlook has an IMAP account in addition to my Outlook.com account. My work Outlook just has an Office 365 account.SolvedTraveler2045Sep 17, 2020Copper Contributor36KViews0likes20Comments
