Hi All, I'm experiencing some difficulty with uploading active employees into Viva Glint. Is there anyone who could assist me with this? Or is there any contact (email or phone) for a support line? Your help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance. BR, MashaQuestions on implementation-
Hi there! We have a couple of questions on setting up access methods and user roles... Can we put a generic URL in the body of the survey invite? Can we include videos in the body of the survey invite? If we allow access to a demographic variable, all users will have access to use it? How do we go about providing certain users access to specific demographic report? (i.e., providing division heads division reports)Cascading of Results
Hello! I’m not sure if this is the right forum for my question—please let me know if I should post elsewhere. I’m interested in learning how other Viva Glint customers handle sharing survey results within their organizations. Specifically, does anyone provide access to results directly to broader groups, rather than using a cascading process (from C-suite to VPs and then to Managers)? Currently, our process takes 4-6 weeks, as results are cascaded down each management level. I’d love to hear about other approaches—how do you share results? What are the benefits and drawbacks of bypassing the traditional cascading method?Importing 2 batches of historical import
Hi! We are hoping to import 2 batches of historical data for an upcoming survey and we are not too sure how can this happen. I have seen the article on historical import but it does not seem to talk about the feasibility of 2 historical imports. I am wondering if there is any resources that can help answer our question?Error when updating employee IDs
I'm attempting to do a bulk upload and update our employee IDs, because we got a new HRIS system, so I want everyone's new ID to be reflected. WE have a large org (20,000+ employees) and when I the bulk update, I get 1,000+ errors. All are the "DUPLICATE_ID" code, and it looks like because someone's new ID is the same as someone's old ID... is there an easy way to fix these in bulk without manually fixing all 1,000+ one by one?Data Retention for Former Employees
How are other organizations configuring the Viva Glint's ‘Retain survey responses and identifiable data for deleted users’ settings? Are you retaining former employees' identifiable information for historical reporting, or deleting their data when they leave? What factors did you consider when making the decision?Manager hierarchy in live survey results not showing
Hello, I recently launched a survey on June 10th. As an admin, I can see the live results coming in and noticed that the exec/VP data isn't listed under "Demographic breakdown by Attribute - Manager Hierarchy" on the results dashboard. Instead, it just lists "All". So essentially, no roll up data is coming in. We recently had a CEO change. An admin went into settings in Glint to update the Top-Level Manager to the new CEO, but is there anything more we needed to do beyond that? I have a hunch that the lack of roll up data is because something is broken in the hierarchy due to the CEO switch. The survey is live until July 1. Can someone help guide me on how to fix this so we can see hierarchy roll up data? Is this even a problem because of the CEO change?Glint is not user-friendly to set up at all
I am not even finished importing my users, and already I am searching for a different EX tool to use. This has been the most admin-intensive config experience I have encountered when setting up any kind of HMS/related tool. I have Googled all my issues because it is impossible to find a straightforward answer on Glint. There is no logic to the import and user-management structure. It feels like Microsoft bought Glint and didn't bring over the entire team who built it, just the surface-level design team. Employees will report to whoever the organisation says they do, and your system cannot override that because it doesn't make sense to you. Circular reporting can't be fixed by removing the email address of the CEO. The highest person in the organisation still has to report to someone for the purposes of EX data. Stop imposing your organisational rules on the system structure. There has to be a better way to reinstate users instead of having to import an entire new sheet? Surely there is an archive functionality, and users can be reactivated on the system? I had to delete 2 support users because they kept creating errors on the employee import sheet for reporting lines, and now I can't reinstate them. This has been the most frustrating experience and such a waste of time. Does anyone have a simple 'Glint How-To' doc I can reference to get going, because I cannot waste another day on this.
