Redefining confidentiality threshold
Hi there! Understand that we can edit the confidentiality threshold on advanced configuration function. However, when the change is made, does it affect existing programs? If already closed, do they become like a snapshot or will the new confidentiality threshold affect those data as well? Thanks!Jing_Ying_ChoonSep 30, 2024Copper Contributor163Views0likes3CommentsMultiple Language Invitations
We are migrating next month with our first Viva-Glint pulse administration slated for September. One of the questions I haven't been able to solve for so far is the lack of external links or multiple languages being included in survey invites. We are multi-national and survey in 20 languages. In the past we would send out English invitations with a top banner of links to internal translations in the other 19 languages. It is my understanding that these links will no longer be possible. The suggestions we have received are to send out invites in the local languages based on country code, but we have a lot of international movement and don't want to guess at what language people might want. I'm curious to hear how other companies that have already gone through migration are navigating this change. I feel like this is a big obstacle and may impact our response rate. Thanks!WSStevens2Aug 02, 2024Copper Contributor308Views0likes1CommentActive employees import problem
Hi All, I'm experiencing some difficulty with uploading active employees into Viva Glint. Is there anyone who could assist me with this? Or is there any contact (email or phone) for a support line?Your help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance. Hialanderfield, One of the client survey has closed and they would like to give phased access to dept heads (100pax) first, then line managers (200 pax) at a later date. However, we have only defined a manager group (300 pax) in the reporting set up site during survey build. I am wondering if there is a workaround to make this work? Would it work if I edit the user role group and only include the department heads and provide access on the dashboard. Then, on a later date, I will edit the user role group again to add in the line managers- will the line managers receive access to the dashboard then? ThanksJing_Ying_ChoonJun 28, 2024Copper Contributor282Views0likes2CommentsAccess problem
Hialanderfield I am facing a problem with report access and I am faced with this error while trying to log in. Please see image- even as I refresh, it stays on the same page. This is quite troubling as we are to do a client insights presentation this week but I am not able to log in with this error. I have reached out to the fast track MS team who were supposed to guide this client but they were not able to solve it. The client is also OOO the whole week and we are not able to get them to help raise a ticket on the MAC site. Please advise if anything could be done on the back end? This problem has been here since last Thursday.Jing_Ying_ChoonJun 19, 2024Copper Contributor430Views0likes3CommentsQuestions on implementation-
Hi there! We have a couple of questions on setting up access methods and user roles... Can we put a generic URL in the body of the survey invite? Can we include videos in the body of the survey invite? If we allow access to a demographic variable, all users will have access to use it? How do we go about providing certain users access to specific demographic report? (i.e., providing division heads division reports)Jing_Ying_ChoonApr 30, 2024Copper Contributor255Views0likes0CommentsImporting 2 batches of historical import
Hi! We are hoping to import 2 batches of historical data for an upcoming survey and we are not too sure how can this happen. I have seen the article on historical import but it does not seem to talk about the feasibility of 2 historical imports. I am wondering if there is any resources that can help answer our question?Jing_Ying_ChoonApr 30, 2024Copper Contributor206Views0likes0CommentsHow do managers impact engagement and People Success?
As people scientists, we are often asked about the role managers have in engagement. Managers play very important roles in people's happiness and success, but the relationship between "manager" and "employee engagement" is nuanced. Pragmatically, we know that the success of most investments organizations make in people's happiness and success can be optimized, under-leveraged, or even undermined by a manager -- pointing to the importance of senior leaders bringing managers along with key business decisions. Statistically, we see that who one's manager is explains a significant and substantial amount of variance in employee engagement levels, but that effect is confounded with factors outside the manager's control. Still, there's a clear relationship between how effective managers are perceived to be and how engaged their teams are. Based on Viva Glint's research: Employees who recommend (versus those who do not recommend) their managers (Q_MANAGER_QP) are: 2.36x more likely to be engaged (Q_ESAT_HAPPY; 78% vs. 33%). Top quartilecompaniesare 12pp more favorable than bottom quartile companies (82% vs 70% favorable). 2.29x likely to say they will probably be with their company in two year’s time (Q_RETENTION; 71% vs. 31%). Top quartilecompaniesare 7pp more favorable than bottom quartile companies (72% vs 65% favorable). 2.24x more likely to feel their company has a great culture (Q_CULTURE; 74% vs. 33%) Top quartilecompaniesare 21pp more favorable than bottom quartile companies (81% vs 60% favorable).
