177 TopicsAre You Having Achievement Code Issues?
July 13 - thanks to all that shared their current achievement code issues. The team continues to investigate but no current time to resolution. July 1 - Hi all, I've seen a few posts regarding sudden issues in generating achievement codes. If this is an issue for you can you please reply to this with the course you're trying to generate and the approximate time you tried to generate? Trying to determine the scope of the problem. If you previously had an issue but it appears to be resolved now, please let me know that as well. Thanks, DanThe new MD-102 and the missing labs
Hi. This complete rewrite of MD-102 has been long underway and very much wanted. The new courseware arrived on time, but much to our disappointment, we discovered that labs will first arrive in the next 30-60 days. Clients will not be happy with a 5 days course without labs. If this is the new norm, then it will render the Courseware Title Plan useless, if we only get part of the course on the dates mentioned.Updated Recording Policy - Effective Immediately
Hello partners, We've spent the last few months collecting feedback to evolve our recording policy. Our goal is to open up opportunities for TSPs to record and distribute content to meet the learners where they are - which is not always live, instructor-led training. At the same time, we've aimed to strike the right balance by continuing to support MCTs to promote fair compensation and ensuring their perspectives remain integral to the process. Below you'll find the new recording policy, effective immediately. This language will be incorporated into our TSP Program Guidelines document on the Learning Resources site in the near future. We'll review this language on the June 24th Community Call. Please let me know if you have any questions. Updated Recording Policy Microsoft Training Services Partners (TSPs) are permitted to record, distribute, and otherwise monetize Microsoft training content in formats that best serve their learners, provided they meet the requirements below. Microsoft training content includes courseware, video, and other training materials developed by Microsoft. All training using Microsoft official content must be delivered by a qualified Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) in good standing. Official Microsoft content may only be recorded and delivered by MCTs operating through an authorized TSP. Unofficial or non-Microsoft training content may be recorded and delivered independently by an MCT without TSP affiliation. Partner Responsibilities and Content Governance TSPs are responsible for ensuring that all recorded training content remains accurate, relevant, and aligned to the latest Microsoft courseware and product updates. Microsoft will be reviewing TSP-produced content at the company’s discretion and may require the removal or discontinuation of recorded content that is determined to be outdated, misaligned with current learning objectives, or no longer representative of Microsoft technologies or guidance. KPI Eligibility Recorded training content, including on-demand or pre-recorded offerings, is not eligible for Training Services Partner Program Key Performance Indicator (KPI) credit. KPI attainment remains tied to live, instructor-led delivery that meets established program requirements for quality, interactivity, and learner validation. Privacy Compliance All recording, distribution, and commercialization of training content must comply with applicable privacy laws, contractual obligations, and Microsoft intellectual property policies. TSPs are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from learners and MCTs participating in the recordings and ensuring lawful use and distribution of all recorded materials.FY27 MCT Newsletter Thread

MCTs: please direct your questions to the MCT Lounge which is your exclusive community for everything MCT TSPs: post any questions in this thread Thank you.Metrics in Training Service Partner dashboard still shows not started
our TSP was on-boarded some months before, and it has now been more than some months since we started delivering training courses. We received the welcome email, completed all required formalities, and have delivered some trainings, and learners redeemed the achievement codes, and completed the surveys in MTM. All of these sessions appear correctly in, MTM surveys, and related dashboards. However, in Partner Center it still shows “Not Started.” Could you guys please review this and help us understand why the status has not updated? Thank you,Problem with PL-7008 Labs
We recently had a problem with the PL-7008 training course. In the latest Courseware Title Plan, the PL-7008 training course is listed as having Labs (ALH status in the Lab Hosting column) and not BYOS, but in the GoDeploy and Extrem offer labs, there are no license as shown in the screenshots below. What exactly is the situation with this course and where can we find the correct information ? Thank youSolvedMCT New and Renewing MCTs - Update July 26
Updated July 26, 2025 As we step into FY26 on July 1st, 2025, I want to share some important updates regarding the MCT Program—especially for those planning to renew. New Fees Coming October 2025, no exact date and the cost will be shared at a later date. Starting July 1st, 2025, we will introduce: A renewal fee (ecommerce tool will be available in October 2025 for everyone to renew) A new MCT enrollment fee (ecommerce tool will be available in October 2025 for new MCTs) Our systems are currently being updated to support this change, with the new tool expected to launch in October 2025. More to come on costs. Pricing will be region supported. Session Requirement for Renewal Effective January 1st, 2026, MCTs will be required to complete six (6) sessions or six (6) days of training per calendar year to qualify for renewal. For clarity on what qualifies as a session, please refer to the attached PDF: Mandatory Use of MTM We will be enforcing stricter requirements for using Metrics That Matter (MTM) to log sessions with your Training Services Partner (TSP). Please coordinate with your TSPs to ensure MTM is being used correctly. What to Expect Next More details on program costs will be shared closer to the tool’s release. All MCTs that were MCTs before manual enrollment have been extended through January 1st, 2026, with full benefits. You’ll see this extension reflected in your profile in your MCT Trainer History NOT active certification. All current MCTs will be able to renew when the tool is available in October 2025 and the requirement to renew will be to have an active certification and have taught one class since your last renewal and pay the renewal fee (costs to come later). We will be checking that you have taught the one class using MTM. New MCTs will need ISC certificate, one role-based active certification and pay the MCT new enrollment fee. New MCT Enrollment Process | Microsoft Learn 🙏 Thank you for your continued support and patience as we enhance our systems. Here’s to a successful and impactful FY26!SolvedStudents See Admin-Completed Modules After Redeeming Course Code
Is there a way to reset a Code Admin Account (e.g. the email address removed for privacy reasons) used for Microsoft Learn learner course and achievement code generation including distribution? Preparation completed by a TSP using the Code Admin Account appears to be carried over to students when they claim their codes. As a result, modules that were previously previewed by the admin are already marked as completed in the students’ module lists once their codes are activated. I may be missing something, but I’ve attached an image showing how students see some course modules already ticked as completed after redeeming their course code. I also have a related question: are trainers able to view their students’ progress for Microsoft Learn training materials redeemed through these course codes? Specifically, can trainers see whether their students are progressing through the self-paced learning modules? If these questions have already been answered elsewhere, I would appreciate being pointed in the right direction. Any input or guidance would be greatly appreciated to resolve any or all of the above. Thanks in advance.
