Hello Microsoft Team, After installing the July 2025 cumulative updates, the Hindi Phonetic keyboard in Windows 11 stopped providing full word suggestions. Earlier, when I typed Hindi words in Roman script, the keyboard gave complete suggestions in Devanagari. Example: Typing: mook Earlier suggestion: मूक, मूकता, etc. Now it only suggests म, or sometimes gives incorrect results. Recent Updates Installed (as shown in Windows Update) 2025-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5062553) 2025-07 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 24H2 for x64 (KB5056579) Troubleshooting Steps I Have Tried Reinstalled the Hindi Phonetic keyboard from Language & Region settings. Verified that Basic Typing for Hindi is installed. Removed and re-added the Hindi language. Restarted the PC after all steps. Checked for additional Windows updates – no pending updates found. The problem still exists. Microsoft Chat Support Guidance I contacted Microsoft Support via chat, and they acknowledged that this is a known issue introduced in the July 2025 updates. They suggested I raise this issue here in the Tech Community so that the product team can track and prioritize a fix. They also mentioned that a fix might come in a future Patch Tuesday update, but no confirmed timeline is available yet. Hi everyone, I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with my Windows 11 computer. For some reason, Yahoo keeps opening automatically in Google Chrome, even when I’m not trying to access it. This happens frequently and interrupts my workflow. I've checked my browser settings and extensions, but I can't find anything unusual. I’ve also cleared my browser cache and cookies, but the problem persists. Has anyone else faced a similar issue or knows how to stop this from happening? Thank you!10KViews11likes10CommentsI'm standing my ground, and sticking with Windows Mobile
Who else is with me? Till the bitter end we stick together, we will make it through, and we know good things come to those who wait. My 1520 finally crashed and screen shattered, I'm now looking for a 950XL as an upgrade or if I can find an HP x3 for cheap that'll be great too. I don't think WM is a burning and a sinking ship at all, I just think we're in a transitional phase, and there's absolutely no reason why MS isn't doing something secretly in their Research Lab. They're most likely preparing for the post-smartphone era that's about to unfold in the next couple of years or so. I'm very excited to finally see the "foldable phone" they've been working on for quite some time now, and I'm sure it'll be great. I would totally understand why you are leaving this platform, and it's absolutely within reason and totally justified, I won't miss you though because I know deep down inside, you've got a special place for WM and you'll eventually come back to us when a new spark has been ignited. But for us who are staying and sticking through this long haul, we're going to be all right. Everything is going to be all right. We shall make it through and reap the rewards when the time is right.51Views6likes1CommentDolby Vision has been removed from HDR options. Does anyone know which update removed it??
I'm posting this here as I tried posting in the official Windows 11 support forum, but my post has been pending approval for the last couple of days, so I figured I'd ask somewhere else. Question: What is going on with Dolby Vision (DV) on Windows 11!? DV was added to Windows 11, but there was a bug for months that forced it to be enabled every time HDR content was played, so you had to go into settings, then display, then HDR, and then disable DV. Microsoft patched it, and now, all of a sudden, Dolby Vision doesn't seem to exist in the settings. Can anyone tell me which update removed it, please? I want to remove the patch so I can use DV again.667Views5likes1CommentMicrosoft Print to PDF Missing

Delivery Optimisation is not working as intended, I have set the relevant limits within the settings however all downloads that happen always exceed what I have set. This causes a real issue as we don't have the best internet and it completely choles the entire household of any internet to try and feed the download. Is there any fix for this, is this a bug, it used to work perfectly fine? I have tried all the tips to fix but to no avail, task manager clearly shows all the internet being used.50Views2likes1CommentSystem > Troubleshoot > Other trouble-shooters - do not run, gives error pop-up...
Hi Guys, Been trying to resolve recent updates not installing, so tried running the Windows Update trouble shooter, but when I click on the "Run" button (System > Troubleshoot > Other trouble-shooters) I just get a pop-up error message (see below). I also get the same error if I click on "Run" for any of other trouble-shooters. I have heard rumours that the trouble-shooters are being 'retired', but surely they shouldn't bomb-out like this? Also, if there another, more up to date Windows Update trouble-shooter? Cheers, Mike28Views2likes1CommentStart menu search not loading after KB5060842
Anyone seen issues with the start menu search going into an indefinite loop after KB5060842? We've had a few reports now on Dell 3520's though I assume it's not model specific. Uninstalling KB5060842 fixes the issue but it doesn't look like I can stop specific updates in WUFB.255Views2likes3CommentsFingerprint recognition issue on Matebook pro x after clean Win 11 install
Laptop: Huawei MateBook X Pro (2018 model MACH-WX9), after performing a clean installation of Windows 11 24H2. Background: I recently repartitioned my hard drive to merge the C:\ and D:\ partitions into a single C:\ drive. As part of this process, I performed a clean installation of Windows 11 (latest stable version, fully updated) using the official Microsoft USB installer. I installed Huawei PC Manager to restore missing drivers, and all device drivers (including fingerprint and chipset) are now correctly installed, according to Device Manager and Windows Update. The Issue: The fingerprint sensor is detected and shows the correct driver version (Goodix Fingerprint Driver v1.1.11.41, dated 2020). I had to manually install this version from the huawei site as the pc manager installed the .32 version (which also didn't work). However, when setting up Windows Hello Fingerprint, I am prompted to tap repeatedly but the process never completes, suggesting the sensor isn't fully functional. Pc manager also states the sensor as 'abnormal'. What I've Tried: Installed all optional and recommended Windows Updates (including drivers). Installed and updated all drivers via Huawei PC Manager. Confirmed that the fingerprint sensor was fully functional before the reinstallation. Verified that all other device drivers (including Intel MEI and Watchdog Timer) are installed and stable. My Conclusion: It appears that the existing Goodix fingerprint driver (v1.1.11.41) may not be compatible with newer Windows 11 security requirements — specifically Memory Integrity (HVCI). I’m reaching out to ask: Is there an updated fingerprint driver available or in development that is compatible with the latest Windows 11 build and security features? If not, is there a recommended workaround or plan for future support? I have seen blogs of users disabling Disabling Memory Integrity, but I am not prepared to do this to risk malicious malware entering my system. Thanks485Views2likes4Comments
