After updating to Microsoft Teams version 260043.403, options in Group Channels related to shared number / calling queue operator availability appear to have changed. Previously, when selecting a channel associated with a calling queue, operators could: View a list of all queue operators See each operator’s availability for that specific calling queue (not general Teams presence) Change their own availability for that queue With this update, the ability for operators to change their availability now appears to be located under Settings → Calls. However, the channel-level view that displayed the availability of other operators seems to have been removed entirely. Can someone confirm whether the operator availability view within Group Channels has been deprecated, or if it is now accessible elsewhere in Teams?36Views0likes0CommentsTeams Calls using Transfer with consult
Hi all, I have a Yealink MP56E2 desk phone with the extension EXP50. When adding "Consult Transfer" to a line key on the extension then the text "Consult with" plus the contact name is added to display on the extension. Consult with is displayed on the first of two lines, taking away a lot of space. Even worth if you change the language to German. Then only 3-4 characters remain to display the contact name. See pictures below. Has anyone managed to change the leading text? In my opinion, no text is needed as the Icon already indicates the "Consult Transfer" function.45Views0likes0CommentsHow to create an audio calling bot for the Marketplace?
What is the correct set of framework(s)/tools that allow a bot to make audio calls to teams users that can be installed to multiple customer's Teams instances, and added to the Teams Marketplace, as of January 2026? It seems that there is a lot of transition going on in the various bot frameworks that are supported by Microsoft. The new Microsoft 365 Agents https://github.com/microsoft/Agents/issues/377 , and won't do until at least March 2026. The Teams Microsoft Graph Comms libraries still work and appear to be current, however that is only half the puzzle. I need to also package up the bot that has been built, including build an app manifest, etc. The AzureBot still works, but upon packaging up, it seems that Multi-tenant support was https://github.com/microsoft/botframework-sdk/issues/6698. The permissions for the various Microsoft graph https://github.com/microsoftgraph/microsoft-graph-comms-samples do not match up with the permissions for the packaging of the new agent (e.g. Calls.AccessMedia.All, Calls.Initiate.All are required, but not present). It also isn't clear to me Microsoft Graph App Manifest can help in this matter. Any clarity on the matter would be much appreciated. This is kinda urgent, so can't wait until Agent SDK40Views0likes1CommentRandomly getting opt-out / opt-in in a CallQueue
Dear All, Once again one of my customers is experiencing something no other words can describe but: magical. Set-up: CallQueue "CQ1" Call answering: "Team1" (with 8 people in it) Conference mode: on Routing: attendant and not precence-based Users can opt out of taking calls 2 out of the 8 persons in Team1 is experiencing that they are randomly getting opt-out or opt-in during the day. Already deleted the cache, re-installed teams (newest versions) but this unwanted magical thingy is still occurring multiple times a day. Anyone else having or had this symptoms? Can't figure out what to do next. Thanks for you thoughts and time! Benjamin656Views4likes9CommentsStrange ringtone is played through Bluetooth headphones when receiving call in MS Teams
Windows 11 22621.1413 (happened on previous builds as well) Asus Zephyrus M16 GU603ZW Microsoft Teams Version 1.6.00.4472 (64-bit) (happened on previous versions as well) Headphones: Jabra Elite Active 7 Have a very weird and annoying problem: if I connect a headset to the notebook via Bluetooth, I am getting a strange ringtone when I receive a call in MS Teams. I have turned off "play sound for incoming calls and notifications" option, but it is still ringing. I thought it was a feature of Jabra headphones (tried on Jabra 75t), but when I connected wife's Samsung headphones (Samsung Buds 2), I got the different ringtone! 🙂 Neither of these ringtones are MS Teams ringtones (checked all available) and weirdly enough, none of them are visible on visualization in System->Sound->More sound settings -> Playback (it seems it plays on headphones itself). Jabra support said they do not have any pre-loaded ringtones on the headphones. Additionally, when I'm on the meeting in MS Teams, this ringtone is not playing when I receive calls. Having this issue for a year already, but to be honest, was not able to understand the cause of it. When I connect a non-Bluetooth headset (SteelSeries Arctic 7) I don't hear any additional ringtone. Reinstalled Teams completely - did not help. Any ideas how to disable it?4.4KViews0likes3CommentsWhere is the Pay-As-You-Go Calling Plan for GCC Tenant License
Currently we are using Direct Routing for calling and want to transition to a PAYG calling plan for GCC license. Unfortunately, direct purchase through Microsoft 365 Admin Center "Microsoft Online Subscription Agreement" (MOSA) billing account is not available; and the license does not appear on our reseller "Microsoft Customer Agreement" (MCA) billing account price list. https://www.microsoft.com/licensing/docs/documents/download/Modern%20Work%20FAQ_Microsoft%20Teams_July2024.pdf (last updated July 29, 2024), item 103 states pay-as-you-go calling plan is available for GCC. Has anyone successfully purchased a PAYG calling plan for GCC license since the implementation of the new Microsoft billing experience?96Views0likes1CommentTest call option not showing up in Teams?
Hi I've downloaded a personal version of Teams and need to test it. However, the 'Test call' option is not available? I've tried 2 methods: 1) typing 'Test call' in the search bar and pressing enter - nothing happens when I do this! 2) going to Settings then Devices then checking for the 'Test call' option - but it's not there! I've attached what I can see when I got to Devices and what I should be able to see (from a video I watched online) I'm using Version 1.4.00.22472 (64-bit). Can anyone please advise?116KViews3likes19CommentsMeeting Bot issue: Did not receive valid response for JoinCall request from call modality controller
I'm trying to join a Teams Meeting with a bot. I used this https://microsoftgraph.github.io/microsoft-graph-comms-samples/docs/articles/index.html#making-an-outbound-call-to-join-an-existing-microsoft-teams-meeting sample. When the bot attempts to join I get the popup to admit or deny it in the meeting, but as soon as I click admit, it drops. In the logs I see this message: Call status updated to Terminated - Did not receive valid response for JoinCall request from call modality controller.. DiagCode: 580#5426.@ I am using the latest (1.2.0.10563 at time of writing) version of Microsoft.Graph.Communications libraries and the problem only started after I updated from 1.2.0.3742 that I was using previously. I could not find any info on what the call modality controller is, or how to check what it is responding if anything. Any ideas on how to troublshoot this are welcome.1.3KViews2likes12CommentsRingtones keeps playing after answer
With the roll out of the Windows Teams app 25332.1210.4188.1171 an old bug resurfaced. If the user answers an incoming call too quickly the ringtones won't stop playing. To make the ringtones stop the user must exit Teams and restart the application. I think this is the third time with different versions we have seen this bug. When using 3rd party tools that automatically answers the call for the user this happens basically with every call. Please roll out a fixed version asap. Please add a test case so that this won't happen again. Teams shows incoming call toast and the call is answered very quickly. Teams starts playing the ringtone Teams is waiting for the call to get answered The call has already been answered so there won't be an answered event that stops the ringtones from playing. The user keeps hearing the ringtones while trying to have a conversation The user must restart Teams to make the ringtones stop. Repeat750Views7likes0Comments
