Hello, I am trying to regain access to my old Microsoft account, br**mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons. Unfortunately, I have forgotten the password and I no longer have access to the phone number linked to the account. I completed the Microsoft account recovery form and provided as much information as possible. However, I received a message saying that the information I provided was insufficient to verify that I own the account. I understand the importance of account security, but I am not sure what else I can do to prove that the account belongs to me. Is there another way to verify my identity or contact Microsoft Support for help? Thank you for your assistance.89Views0likes2CommentsLocked out of Device. In need of assistance.
TLDR: Am being force to verify account that is on my laptop, to log in my laptop. What to do. Context I recently got a laptop, and it required a mircosoft account/email, I didnt know how it worked and made a account called mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons thinking I was making a account. It just let me do that and ask me to verify later. Once I was in my new laptop I started using and then realized I needed a actual account so I made mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons which was my new real account. However recently (i think i remeber it needing to verify after 7 days) the pin is no longer avaible and to make the pin work again, I needed to was to sign in to my mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons which was fine I had my password however it says susipous acitivty requires email verficition to my original fake mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons I try fixing it and which on aka.ms/pwr and account.live.com/proofs/marklost and it only lets me reset my password and attach a passkey which I did but when I try to log into the outlook account and get the password and passkey right it STILL REQUIRED ME TO VERIFY with my fake mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons account. Am I screwed, do I need to get a fresh boot of windows and wipe my storage or smt or is there a representive that can remove the fake email. Any help is appreciated please and thank youSolved117Views0likes2CommentsUser can't see some emails after loading PST
Recently I helped a user migrate from an IMAP mail to Outlook. I downloaded the PST file from the old IMAP account and loaded the file into his new account, all in Classic Outlook as this user refuses to use the new Outlook. However, during the load of old mail he would stop receiving any new mail. To fix this I created a new profile and that did allow new mail to arrive, however, the mail from the backup didn’t show. I then loaded the backup into the new Outlook and it only loaded mail up to 2022. After this, we loaded the PST into Outlook Classic on a different device as to not disrupt workflow, but that also didn’t solve the issue. I loaded the PST file into a testing account, and it did load all the files, from 2020 to the date the file was created.88Views0likes2CommentsOutlook.de DKIM and DMARC records broken
Outbound mail from outlook.de carries a DKIM-Signature with d=OUTLOOK.DE; s=selector1, but the corresponding DNS TXT record at selector1._domainkey.outlook.de does not exist. This causes receiving servers to report dkim=permerror (no key for signature). To reproduce: Send a mail from any @outlook.de account Check the DKIM-Signature header — it references selector1 Run: dig TXT selector1._domainkey.outlook.de — no record returned The domain outlook.de also has no DMARC record published (dmarc=none). Some header information: Received: by 2002:a05:6a11:e41c:b0:73b:6833:703f with SMTP id em28csp1732536pxc; Tue, 21 Jul 2026 07:23:10 -0700 (PDT) [...] ARC-Authentication-Results: i=2; mx.google.com; dkim=permerror (no key for signature) header.i=@OUTLOOK.DE header.s=selector1 header.b=mWWTJtqO; arc=pass (i=1); spf=pass (google.com: domain of email address removed for privacy reasons designates 2a01:111:f403:d20f::3 as permitted sender) [...] I leave out DNS this time as the discussion was marked as spam, but you can easily check it yourself: dig TXT selector1._domainkey.outlook.de and dig TXT _dmarc.outlook.de return no entries as all. So obviously the DNS records are not published. This leads to bad email reputation - so emails are either in SPAM folders or get rejected completely. Can someone from MS look into this and fix it. This is at least the case since June 2026 - see also https://borncity.com/blog/2026/07/02/patzt-microsoft-bei-dkim-fuer-outlook-de/ (which is in German unfortunately) - but that is the exact issue.164Views0likes5Comments腾龙公司游戏官网

Hi, last week I created a new mail-account to our outlook-users and added a mail-license. Only internal mails was received in the new inbox and after troubleshooting and using mail-trace I discovered that the mails was forwarded to another internal inbox. This is not something that is configured anywhere in the mentioned settings when trying to troubleshoot forwarding-issues. How do I turn this off, so that my new employee can receive external e-mails. We don't have any policies or rules set up, that should trigger this behavior. We recently had a partner experience an issue that is causing the teams add-in feature to not load properly in classic outlook when creating a new meeting. For some background info, we are using a Virtual environment within remote desktop running windows 11. Our servers are provided by AWS. The issue only began as recently as December, as far as we can ascertain with the customers information. I have noticed this issue occurs with numerous partners but is inconsistent, as some load and others do not. I followed troubleshooting steps such as an uninstall/reinstall, verifying the load behavior in the registry was set to 3, and tried to re-register the related teams.addinLoader.dll. A colleague did implement a script to the environment task scheduler that will run every time outlook is launched to re-install that add-in as a break fix, but this still requires closing outlook and reloading it to work. I was curious if anyone else had encountered this within remote desktop with classic outlook, and if they had any success in fixing it. The easiest thing, obviously, is moving over to new outlook since teams' integration is native, but we have some that prefer classic. Though, with it being retired in 2029 it may be worth starting the move away while in a remote environment.1KViews0likes1CommentCannot unlock my Microsoft account, SMS verification not working
Hi, I need help with a blocked Microsoft account. When I try to sign in, the system asks for my phone number to unblock the account. The first SMS took too long to arrive and when I tried again I received an error message and cannot retry. I tried another phone number but I did not receive any SMS and now I cannot use my original number again. I tried all support options through https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact . I changed my password twice, completed the account recovery form, changed the password again, cleared cache, switched networks, changed browsers and used incognito mode. Nothing worked. When I enter my main number, it shows “Something went wrong” and does not go to the next step. When I use another number, I receive the “Try another verification method” error, even though no other method is available. My account is still logged in on my phone, but I cannot unlock it on the web or on other devices. I have had this account for more than 10 years and everything is linked to it. I even created another email to contact Microsoft Support, but it always redirects me to the same link and I cannot open an actual support ticket. Could someone from Microsoft please help me unblock my account or escalate this issue? I can provide any additional verification if needed. Thank you.316Views0likes2Comments
