The system screen timeout is set to 15 minutes, but the screen still turns off after only 3 minutes. I have tried adjusting all relevant options in the power plan settings (including timeouts in advanced settings and hardware-related parameters), but none have worked. I am seeking a permanent solution.15Views0likes1CommentInsider Program Switching channel
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out regarding an issue I am facing with my Windows Insider Program settings. By mistake, I switched my device to the Dev Channel, but I would like to return to the Beta Channel. I attempted to switch back to Beta and even recovered my system once to resolve the issue. However, after an update, my system reverted to the Dev Channel again. I do not require the Dev Channel and would prefer to stay on the Beta Channel. Unfortunately, I am unable to perform a clean installation of Windows, as my laptop contains private and critical data that I cannot risk losing. I kindly request your assistance in providing a solution to help me switch back to the Beta Channel without the need for a clean installation. Please Microsoft team reach me out with the mail with solution i dont want to lose my data as i dont have any bootable drive34Views0likes2CommentsIssue with sign-in to Office apps after Windows update
We are experiencing sign-in issues with Office apps after the two latest Windows updates: KB5068865 and KB5071417. When launching Office applications, users receive an Account Error warning. The apps otherwise work as expected, but users must reauthenticate in Outlook to access their mailbox. After signing in, everything works normally. However, the issue reoccurs after a machine restart. We are running Windows 11 23H2 multi-session in Azure with Citrix DaaS, deployed using MCS. We have also tested upgrading to 25H2 and updating FSLogix, but neither made any difference. If we uninstall the update, everything works as expected again. Does anyone have any ideas or has anyone experienced something similar?64Views0likes3CommentsWhy My PC can't be upgraded to Windows 11 25H2
My PC is currently running Windwos 11 23H2 and it still does not receive the 25H2. How to fix this? As far as I know, the hardware specs are still good. It has has Ryzen 5 1600 CPU, 16 GB of RAM, an RX 480 GPU, and a 500 GB SSD (with 248 GB free.) I have checked the Windows Update a couple of times and there is no update for 25H2. Is there a way available so I can upgrade to Windows 11 25H2 manually on this PC?39Views0likes6CommentsPossible to bypass Windows 11 cpu check with rufus?
When I run the Windows 11 setup.exe from mounted ISO file, an error message shows: This processor isn't supported for this version of Windows. The CPU is an Intel Core 6700K. It seems this old PC doesn't meet the official CPU and TPM requirements. Could someone please confirm the exact steps to bypass Windows 11 cpu check with rufus? I want to make sure I select the correct settings to skip the compatibility checks during installation without causing any other issues. Any additional tips would be greatly appreciated.3.8KViews0likes6CommentsRyzen 3 HP - Windows 11 Upgrade
Hi Folks! I want to upgrade the Windows version of my AMD Ryzen 3 laptop. Previously, I was using Windows 11, version 21H2 but past few weeks, it has started giving me a hard time, no automatic Windows Upgrade anymore. I researched this and found that my Laptop's hardware (CPU) does not meet the requirements needed for Windows 11. I was advised to install Windows 10, but I want Windows 11 with the upgraded version 22H2, at least, if possible.43Views0likes2CommentsMicrosoft forcing unwanted service onto users
Dear Microsoft, I have been a Windows user for many many years now and I loved windows for many years, but now I'm seriously leaving windows now. Since windows 10 you have been removing user rights in the windows and forcing your way of using the system onto us users, which I simply cannot accept anymore. If I buy a licens to Windows, then I should be the only one in charge of my windows install. Yet if I disable a function/service then you just turn it back on next time I update windows. Thats NOT RIGHT. And now you are removing the option to turn off these function/service, why? Leave my windows install alone. The latest issue you have done is removing the option to remove Copilot. When Copilot first was introduced, I could just uninstall copilot, and it was gone from my pc. Then you change it, so that if I disabled copilot it would disappear - I was fine with that. But now I can't even disable copilot in windows, the option is gone from the setting menu. And it everywhere in windows now and always in your face. I don't want to use it. If I want to use AI, I use ChatGPT (I know you own OpenAI) in the web browser, I just do not want copilot anywhere one my system, because I don't use it and is not going to use it. In your apps, like outlook, word, etc., you still allow users to disable copilot. However, before some update when a user disabled copilot it would disappear from the toolbar - Nice! But you changed that. Now the copilot button is still there, even if I actively disable it - WHY? Again, I do not want to use copilot which is why I'm actively disable it. So please, respect users' decision and stop forcing unwanted service onto users, especially when they have made an active decision to disable the set function/service. I'm leaving Windows for Linux. Outlook for Proton, Xbox for SteamOS, Office for Libre Office, Onedrive for Dropbox. I'm leaving Microsoft and all their products since they are not worth it anymore.52Views1like1CommentSave the date: Windows Office Hours - December 18, 2025

I have attempted multiple methods to install a new version of the Snipe Tool on an offline computer, but all my efforts have failed. This means I will need to reinstall Windows 11 on my computer. Since this is an editing and graphics computer, I will also have to reinstall all my applications and plugins. I wish Microsoft had a solution for computers like mine and offered offline installation packages.26Views0likes1CommentWhy my pc not receiving Windows 11 25H2 update?
My wife's laptop was successfully updated to Windows 11 25H2 two weeks ago but my PC still does not receive Windows 11 25H2 update. Currently, it runs Windows 11 23H2 and the hardware specs are quite decent, including an Intel i7 processor, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD.
