After the last update or so, I can't sign in to the Microsoft store or the Xbox app or the settings. There is no error code or anything, it just flashes the sign in page and disappear. In the store I get the error "We encountered an error. Please try signing in again later." and that's all. I tried all sorts of thing like resetting and repairing the Microsoft store and Xbox app, but those did nothing. i tried these commands "sfc /scannowsfc /scannow" and "Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" but still nothing. Does anyone have the same error or knows a fix, please let me know. Thanks39Views0likes3CommentsInstallation Failure of KB5074109 on Windows 11 25H2 Multi-Session – Error 0x80073712
We are experiencing persistent issues installing the latest Windows update, KB5074109, on Windows 11 25H2 Multi-Session running in Azure. The installation fails on multiple machines with error code 0x80073712. We have tried the following troubleshooting steps, but still the same issue: sfc /scannow DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth Windows Update Troubleshooter (Settings → System) Manual download and installation of the update Has anyone else run into this, or does anyone have ideas on how to fix it? Could the update itself be the problem?102Views0likes2CommentsWindows 11 account issues: lock screen skipped, device not showing in Microsoft account
Hi everyone, I’m facing a few strange issues on Windows 11 that seem to be limited only to my main user profile, and I’m hoping to fix them without creating a new profile and migrating all my data. Settings > Apps > Advanced app settings: I see a sign-in-related issue & an error code 0x80860010. The lock screen is skipped when the PC starts. On power-on or restart, the lock screen flashes for a split second, and then Windows directly goes to the PIN entry screen. This happens only on my main user account. If I create a new local or Microsoft account, the lock screen works perfectly even after a restart or cold boot. My Windows PC does not appear under Devices on my Microsoft account page, even though the PC is signed in with my Microsoft account locally. I’ve already tried restarting, signing out and back into my Microsoft account, checking sign-in options, and testing Fast Startup on and off. Since everything works fine on newly created accounts, I believe my existing user profile or account state may be corrupted. I’m trying to avoid creating a new profile and manually migrating data if possible. Any guidance on repairing the current user profile, re-linking the device to my Microsoft account, or restoring normal lock screen behavior would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help. ~Gourav57Views0likes2CommentsTrouble Reinstalling Windows 11
I believe my windows 11 could be corrupted. I have lost the ability to connect to wifi. Shows "no connections available". Have tried all the usual things - reset the network, reinstall the network adapter driver, nothing works. Have tried to download and install Windows update 24h repair file but it won't install. So I have backed up my SSD and made a USB boot drive. Booted from the USB drive and first tried repairing Windows 11 which wouldn't install. Next tried installing a new copy of Windows 11. I got to the point where I had to select the drive to install on. Problem is Drive 0 is listed as 0 bytes and I can't select it. Using the command prompt I tried diskpart / list drive / select drive 0 / and clean but received another error message saying no Drive 0. However if I am in Windows I can see 4 drive 0's using Disk Management. Chkdsk /f/r runs and says all is good yet I cannot reinstall Windows 11 from either inside windows or from Support Assistant. I question whether my SSD is corrupted but have not been able to find any software that tell me that. Was hoping a clean reinstall of the OS would fix this. By the way, with the exception of no wifi the rest of Windows works just fine. I can get the internet using an ethernet connection so not all is lost. Any ideas?17Views0likes1CommentHow can I upgrade to Windows 11 26H1 on my PC?
I heard Windows 11 26H1 is coming out and I saw a few users already have Windows 11 26H1 installed on their computer. When I checked the update section on my Windows 11 PC (currently running Windows 11 25H2), there is no update available. How can i upgrade to Windows 11 26H1 on my PC? I've been a Windows customer since the beginning. I was doing computing back on the TSR-80, when we still saved information on audio tape. However, with the changes in the last few versions of Windows; I feel I can on longer use a Windows product. I've been using a Windows 11 system for several months now, and I've hated every time I had to use it. With the increase in non-optional "optional" and non-removable features; I've decided that it's time to move onto a Linux based system. Sincerely, a former Microsoft customer.13KViews13likes51CommentsWhy can't I update my Windows 10 to 11 on my pc?
Downloaded the Windows 11 ISO version 25H2 from Microsoft, hoping this could be fine for upgrading Windows 10 to Windows 11 25H2 on my Dell desktop PC. After waiting a couple of minutes, the Windows 11 setup wizard this PC can't run Windows 11. I don't know what is this. Though the PC was built a couple of years go, it is still in good condition and the hardware specs are decent, including an Intel i7 7700K CPU, 1TB SSD, 16GB RAM and 8GB. Any ideas why can't I update my Windows 10 to 11? Thanks for any help you can offer.79Views0likes7Comments
