I have no clue how to word this. Basically, in a form I have a field called Members. This field is a drop down menu that lists all of the Members for a meeting via check boxes. I can then tick the checkboxes for the people who attended the meeting, click 'ok', and then when when I run the report, their names will appear. I don't need this information saved; just to display on the report so I can print it. Here's my problem. Not all of the members can vote, so I want the members who can vote listed first, and the rest of the members listed next. I've put in my custom sort formula in the Members query. When I open my Members dropdown box, they are listed exactly the way I want. However, as soon as I tick on the names and then click 'ok,' it's displayed in order of the primary key. When I run the report, the names are still sorted by the primary key. I've gone to every query and table I can find to create my custom sort, but it keeps defaulting to sorting by the primary key. It's driving me INSANE. Any idea why it's doing this? I've dug through google and haven't had luck finding an answer that works. Thanks in advance!Solved299Views0likes16CommentsMicrosoft Todo (on Teams) does not remember sort
In teams, I can open Planner (todo) and list tasks from my todo. But each time I sort based on Title either Ascending or Descending, this works only when I am in this tab. ( I am having to do this because there is no numbering and way to set custom priority manually) Once I browse to any other view, either to Teams itself or even to just My Plans or My Day and come back to My Tasks, the sort order is lost and I have to do this again. Can this be fixed please?Sorting files in Teams
As stated in at least one other post on this forum which was originally posted in 2017(!!!!!) it is still not fixed by Microsoft! If you have a Teams instance you get an office365 connected group, Sharepoint site and a document library, etc. Within our large organization it is a real nuisance that although files are sorted alphabetically in the connected SharePoint library Teams just keeps on sorting the docs on the last modified date. This just doesn’t makes sense! In some use cases people benefit from the sorting on last modified date but this is a contextual thing. Let’s say I am working on a document and after that I want to sent a mail and attach a document to that mail you can easily make the assumption that I want to be able to quickly share the file I just worked on... Fine... But when accessing an (extensive) document library this isn’t the case. People are just looking for a certain document and at that moment the default last modified sorting option makes that navigation quite a nuisance!! A team should be capable of sorting their document library in any way they find most helpful! Please fix this! I just can’t understand why this minor adjustment isn’t fixed already since it has beenmode three years when it was reported here...10KViews0likes3CommentsDateTime-Sent-to-Printer as File Property Detail in Windows 10
Printer sometimes taking day(s) creates challenge (impossible) identifying printouts of different documents (footer having filename is insufficient when names can be same while different folders). Having time-sent-to-printer as footer to me is simplest solution (I only need to record DateTime of folder I have printed; as match to printouts if it contains DateTime-Sent-to-Printer). Although printer is capable of add print time to printout, it is NOT time-sent-to-printer. DateTime-Sent-to-Printer as file attribute would ease my job to search for files printed for certain time frame. I have thought of following alternatives: Using printout order not viable; it is not necessarily same order sent to printer. Adding folderpath into filename as a way to differentiate (sorting) printouts is a solution but cumbersome requiring programming.482Views0likes0CommentsSorting mail from Exchange mailbox with POP3
Hi everyone, I have a problem that I hope you can help me solve it, I have an account with an external supplier with exchange 2010 where my company connects only with POP3 (unfortunately) to read mail and sort it through Outlook rules. This account has a space limit and also we talk about a flow of thousands of mails per day so we are forced to download , delete it from the server and through numerous rules on Outlook (more than 70) sort them accordingly. The problem is that the PST quickly reaches 100Gbytes and becomes unmanageable. I thought of using an Exchange server of our property as a connector to download the mail but then it will still be sorted and archived regularly. Do you have any solution in mind? thank you so much!1.3KViews0likes3CommentsCustom Sort list Exceeded, macro has too many line continuations, please help
I have a spreadsheet that creates a table and copies hidden forms to their respective items as individual tabs, there are sometimes support forms which have been labeled with a connecting A-D. I would like the Table of Contents to sort column A items 10,10A,10B,10C,10D,20,20A,20B,20C,20D,30 and so on. I have tried bring the list from the "sorter" tab in through options but got cut off around 880A mark. I amended the SORT Macro but got a line continuation error. I am doing this sort for 10-5550 with possible A-D available for each. Any way to make this happen?1KViews0likes0CommentsSorting of Completed Items / integrate completed and available
TO DO Team, Ok, when we converted from Wunderlist to To Do the ONE feature that we LOVED was that the completed items could all be shown with the incomplete items. The fact that we could sort the completed items was THE BEST FEATURE of the application. Now, unfortunately, to took the one thing we really liked and removed it. Now, when we do something like a grocery list which we use it for the most. About every other month we have to UN-Complete EVERYTHING, sort it, the RE COMPLETE it all. The inability for completed items to sort with the rest of the list is rather stupid. Please give the ability to see it the way that TO DO have it a few weeks ago OR give the ability to soft completed items.1.1KViews6likes2CommentsDisplay bug in the Team Management Administration page
Hi, I just noticed this bug when sorting the members of a Team : The Role Column doesn't follow when sorting other columns (and the Role Column sorting doesn't work anyway), which can lead to mistakes when manipulating roles. It also can be dangerous when adding a new member and then set it as an owner, because you can assign the role to the wrong member.Solved2KViews1like4Comments
