Hi all, we are working with the project web app. The Data stored in the project web app is pulled via the OData feed connector into a PowerBI report. The project web app is hosted on https://company.sharepoint.com/sites/pwa, the data is pulled from https://company.sharepoint.com/sites/pwa/_api/projectdata. The connection and data refresh was working for months without an issue, last week I have added two enterprise custom fields in the PWA and made some changes to the Enterprise Global. When opening the enterprise global a cache limit error appeared in Project Desktop, which was resolved by deleting the cache. I had to do a forced check in of the enterprise global in the PWA settings. I also got an error when loading the "Tasks" table in Power BI, an issue with one of the newly added enterprise custom fields was reported. This issue just appeared once, seems now to be resolved. Since then, I have not gotten any up to data from the PWA via the OData feed into PowerBI. When looking directly in the PWA the data gets updated, but gets not submitted via the OData feed anymore, some "old" versoin of the data gets submitted, I can run the data refresh against the OData feed without any issue but returns only "old" data. I also have 2 "Project Save from Project Professional" jobs under "Manage queue jobs" with job type "Cancelled" which I cannot remove / cancel from the list. How can I solve this? Good day! When creating a new project, I can choose the Project End date. Now, it's not uncommon that this date changes along the line. For instance, this change when one of the timelines changes in the Gantt-view. I was wondering if the end-date that was originally set and saved in the project, can be retreived somewhere so we can take it into account in a report? So we can report on the difference between the origin value and the most recent value? Hello everyone, Some of you may remember my previous thread about the same-ish issue (https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/project/excel-reporting-can-t-connect-to-calendars-with-odata-anymore/m-p/4132119) that ended up being solved by a Project Online patch. But somehow, the issue returned. Not the same cause, since it has nothing to do with authentication this time, but the same symptoms : trying to fetch Calendar Exceptions data from an Excel OData query doesn't work anymore. When trying to get the data, I am getting "Error 400 : Cannot get a CSOM-compatible PJContext for an HTTP request that started outside of CSOM." It seems the issue started this morning on my client's tenant. Has anyone else experienced the same issue ?Solved321Views0likes8CommentsProject Online Task notes update using Rest Api

In Project Online, we add resources from our enterprise resource pool to projects using the "build team" functionality. Once the team is built for a project we may or may not assign some or all of those resources to tasks in the project. I want to create a Power BI report that shows all of the resources on a project team regardless of whether they have assignments or not. I can get the resources that have assignments, but I cannot figure out how to surface the resources that are on the project team but do not have assignments.677Views0likes11CommentsPWA Data connections - OData Risks erros
Good afternoon everyone, I am trying to connect my PWA to PBI, and I can connect all the data connections except for the risks. Does anyone know if there is some incorrect configuration or if there is a workaround I can try? I have also tried to connect through SharePoint Online, but it does not find data related to risks. In case it's important, this PWA is already in the new settings. Thank you.433Views0likes1Comment"Finish" Value in Project Center
Hello Comrades, I was hoping that one of you may be able to help me clarify what value a field is displaying in the Project Online (PWA) Project Center. The field in question is the "Finish" field, shown below. Originally, we were assuming that this was the "Finish date" of the project set in the Project Information, in the Project desktop app. However, that does not appear to be true. As we have started to run into cases where projects are published and the "Finish date" in the Project Information section does not match the "Finish" value in Project Center. It seems as though Project Center is either showing the "ProjectLateFinish" date of the project OR the "Finish" of the top-level task in the project? I have been unable to find any documentation on what value is showing in Project Center. Thanks! I've just installed Microsoft Project Service core and the Project Management Office Accelerator to a new environment. This appeared to be successful (apart from a known error with one of the flows in the Accelerator), and I and was in the process of setting up a PowerBI dashboard from the template when I encountered a "key didn't match any rows in the table" error, affecting all the Roadmap tables: Checking the tables in the environment, I find no tables matching msdyn_roadmap, while they are present in the default environment. I find 24 tables matching msdyn_project in both environments. Have I missed a step, or is there something else going on? I do notice that there are two entries for Microsoft Project Service Core under Resources > Dynamics 365 apps in Power Platform Admin Center (I didn't notice this when carrying out the initial install). Going into Details for each of these, I can't see any difference: Thanks, RobSolved1.3KViews0likes2CommentsAlternative to ODATA using MS Project SE (Subscription Edition)
Hi all, until last week we were using MS Project Server 2016 and visualizing the data from the PWA in Power BI via the ODATA Connector. Last weekend SharePoint and MS Project were upgraded to Subcription Edition (SE) on prem and now the ODATA interface is no longer usable. Do you have any idea how to make the data from the MS Project Server Subscription Edition PWA usable?
