Good Day Everyone! I am trying to get a list of all active courses that are being offered by Microsoft as the https://aka.ms/CertPoster refers only to the ones with Certifications but there are many more that are offered as a learning path for example there is no certification on COPILOT but we have MS-4004,MS-4005,MS-4007 . My 15 years old HP laptop is now running very slow with Windows 10 and I already got a new Windows 11 laptop. I'm planning to install Fedora on the old computer and need to create fedora bootable USB from Windows 11? I have downloaded the latest Fedora ISO file and have a USB flash drive with 32GB of storage, but I'm not sure which software to use or the exact steps involved in the process. Could someone provide a detailed, step-by-step guide that work well for this purpose on Windows 11?18Views0likes1CommentHow to force win11 to use a paging file?
I'm running into a problem where Windows 11 isn't utilizing a paging file, which is causing system crashes, slowdowns, and poor performance when running memory-intensive applications. Essentially, my system's memory management is struggling, and I'm wondering if there's a way to override Windows 11's default settings to force the operating system to use a paging file as a safety net to supplement the physical RAM and prevent crashes, thereby ensuring a smoother and more stable computing experience.12Views0likes1CommentSelections on Win11 Desktop
Is anyone of you knowledgeable in terms on Windows 11? Especially the desktop? Why are new icons on the desktop aligned from left to right and from top to bottom - and when I want to use shortcuts (shift+click) to select a bunch of icons or files, it selects them in lines from left to right and then top to bottom? A friend of mine has the same issue. How do I fix this? No other Windows iteration has had that.7Views0likes1CommentWeird updates "Security Threat Intelligence" on desktop
Hi guys, my name is Mo and I am new to the XRD community 🥰 I m observing anomalous device behavior. Upon login or wake-up, multiple virtual machines are active, some exhibiting headless screen reader functionality. This issue emerged following the installation of Microsoft security threat intelligence updates. Considering Windows Defender's machine learning and predictive maintenance capabilities, I question the deployment of these updates to my system. Is this update a standard Windows component? The associated URL is currently inaccessible. I acknowledge the potential of XR, CDN, and Hologres technologies (and other Azure/cloud-enabled features) to alter user experience. Could someone provide clarification regarding these iterative security updates? My usage is limited to cloud platforms and reputable open-source software; I do not utilize malicious websites. Thank you. #misclassification?7Views0likes0CommentsFx-audio Dac-X6 drivers fail after 14/01/2024 update
Hello I have an issue that my DAC is not recognized by windows after latest update. There is code 10 in drivers (It is polish language): Nie można uruchomić tego urządzenia. (Kod 10) Zasoby systemu są niewystarczające do ukończenia operacji API. When i was backing windows up it went even further. Repair tool reinstalled some system files on E. partition xD. So software just crashed and i had to reinstall windows. On the very first launch everything was fine. DAC installed their drivers automatically. It was recognized by soft, and played the sound. When I updated and restarted pc the problem was back, though. Again code 10. "System resources does not perform requirements to finish the API operation". Is there any possibility for install selective updates? Please, help! Excause my english, I try my best.Solved3.3KViews15likes28Comments"Copy to clipboard" balloon tip blocks Copy icon
If you have 1920x1080 screen resolution or higher, this annoying balloon tip wreaks havoc by blocking the "copy" icon. I find this balloon tip to be the least necessary thing ever. Everyone who's job involves using the Defender portal knows what that icon means and the fact that it is blue lets us know even more concretely that we can click it. Does anyone else have this issue and/or find this annoying? The next thing that is also problematic in the same way, the way we have to use these balloons to first sort columns ascending, before we can ever sort descending. And we can't just click the obvious arrows, we have to click, get the balloon, choose "Sort ascending", then click again, get the next balloon, finally choose "Sort descending". I'm flabbergasted as to how anyone thought this was going to be helpful (making a simply sort button require so many clicks just to sort columns). I give feedback in the portal about these two things often, but it doesn't go away. These 2 UI elements are no good, need to go.15Views0likes0CommentsI want to turn off or hide the draft with copilot dingbat that follows my cursor around in MS Word.
I have seen a few articles on this website, and I know it's not possible but I'm going to ask anyway. For reference this is what I'm referring to: It's more I find the little thing following me around on my screen to be annoying and distracting, I've managed to hide or disable anything related to copilot on my system except this little dingbat. When a new document is open you get a little message that says "Select the icon or press Alt + i to draft with copilot" It would be nice if I could hide that as well, yes copilot is a *feature*, and I don't care about it. I also want to hide the paste with copilot and just used the local paste options that were built into previous versions of word. I suspect that there is a copilot dingbat that is stored somewhere on my system, possibly in a font, and as I have already made a few detrimental modifications to my operating system registry, I'm not wary of messing up my computer any more than it could be. The only saving grace I have at the moment is there is an issue with my account, so any accidental triggering of the feature causes it to crap out. (So long as I don't accidentally press the 'fix account" button) I know that if it was easy to turn off there would be a button for it, I know Microsoft probably wants us to use this feature because it means more data for them to collect, an I'm disappointed in the loss of user agency that's resulted from this rollout, and there's a spike in animosity towards AI in general.Solved14KViews15likes23Comments"Win" key & Typing
Issue: "Win" key disrupts/triggers something, that ruins/disrupts typing. I have an issue with the "Win" key - specifically, if you have an active window, then press the "Win" key and CLICK back to the active window, weird stuff start to happen (including apps like notepad, browsers or 3rd party apps). For example, keys "a", "c" and "v" seem to act like "CTRL+key" action. "Backspace" key sometimes doesn't work. In the rare cases, there's no typing at all. The problem solves, after you CLICK on Windows taskbar and back to the active window. Didn't have this problem on Windows 10 - happened only after updating to the 11th version. Windows 11 Pro, 24H2, OS 26100.2894 Would be glad to hear, if anyone has or can replicate this issue. Thanks for the answers in advance.10Views0likes0Comments
