Shriko111 My suggestion is Samsung Cloud. It is a built-in service with all Samsung Galaxy phones.
To recover data from Samsung phone (broken screen) using Samsung Cloud, go to the Settings app on your Samsung phone, and scroll down to find Accounts and Backup. Tap on Samsung Cloud, and log in with your Samsung account if prompted.
Once you're in Samsung Cloud, select the Restore option. Here, you can choose the types of data you wish to restore, such as contacts, messages, photos, or app data. After selecting the desired data, tap Restore Now to begin the process. Depending on the amount of data and your internet connection, the restoration process may take some time.

If you need to recover data from a broken Samsung phone screen, Samsung's Find My Mobile feature can help you do so. This service is especially useful if the screen is so broken that it no longer works properly. I personally used this feature to unlock my brother's phone, which had a broken screen and was completely unusable.
The steps for data recovery using Find My Mobile are as follows:
- Before the screen was damaged, you need to have enabled the Find My Mobile feature in the phone's settings, and the phone needs to be connected to the Internet.
Visit the Find My Mobile website: - Open a browser on your computer, type Find My Mobile, and log in with your Samsung account.
- Once logged in, the website will show all your registered Samsung devices. Select the phone with the broken screen.
- In the control panel, you can select "Unlock my device" to remotely unlock the phone, or select "Backup data" to back up the data in the phone to Samsung Cloud.
- If you choose to back up, wait for the data to be backed up, and you can restore the data through Samsung Cloud on another Samsung device, or restore it after the phone is repaired.
This feature is really convenient, especially when you don't have physical access to the device. However, it requires that the device be set up in advance and that it can only work when there is a network. If your phone has this function set up, it can really be of great help in an emergency.
- Before the screen was damaged, you need to have enabled the Find My Mobile feature in the phone's settings, and the phone needs to be connected to the Internet.

No matter what software or method you use to recover data from Samsung phone with broken screen on Windows computer, there are a few things to know beforehand. Outdated drivers can cause issues with data transfer. Make sure you update your drivers before attempting to recover data. You can use the Microsoft Update tool to check for updates. Make sure you have enough storage space on your PC before attempting to recover data. Avoid overwriting data on your phone while trying to recover it, as this can cause permanent data loss.
If you're unable to recover data using these methods, consider seeking professional help from a Samsung authorized service center.

Samsung Smart Switch is a tool provided by Samsung that is very suitable for migrating data from an old phone to a new phone, and can also be used to back up mobile phone data to a computer. I have used this software to back up data myself, and the process is simple and fast. If your phone screen is broken but the phone can still be recognized by the computer, you can try this method to recover data from samsung galaxy phone.
Here are the steps to use Samsung Smart Switch:
- First, you need to install Samsung Smart Switch on your computer. You can download the installation package directly from Samsung's official website.
Connect your phone: - Use a USB data cable to connect your Samsung phone to the computer. If the phone screen is not working, but USB debugging has been turned on before, the software can usually automatically recognize the device.
- Open the installed Smart Switch program. The program will try to connect to your phone and display basic information about the phone.
- On the Smart Switch interface, you can select the "Backup" option. In this way, the photos, contacts, messages and other data on the phone will start to be backed up to the computer. Depending on the amount of data, this process may take a few minutes to dozens of minutes.
- After the backup is completed, you can view the backed up data in the specified backup folder on the computer. In this way, even if the phone is completely unusable, your data is safely saved.
The effectiveness of this method depends on whether the phone can be recognized by Smart Switch after connecting to the computer. If USB debugging is not turned on or the phone is seriously damaged, you may need to try other recovery methods. But if conditions permit, Smart Switch is indeed a convenient and effective data backup and recovery option.

- EmilyCowIron ContributorIf your screen is completely unresponsive, you won't be able to navigate your phone to authorize any data recovery software. You'll be stuck at that initial "trust this computer?" screen if you haven't authorized it beforehand. That means you can't just plug it into your PC and hope for the best.
To recover data from Samsung phone with broken screen on PC, but not all recovery software plays nicely with broken screens. Some programs need you to enable USB debugging, which you can't do if your screen's toast. You might not even know which software works for your specific situation until you try it and realize it's a bust. - Dinteste1860Copper Contributor
There are two ways to recover data from a Samsung phone with broken screen on Windows pc, depending on the extent of the damage and the options available to you. Here are some methods to try:
Use a Samsung Smart Switch

5. Choose a destination folder on your PC, and click "Backup."
Use a USB OTG adapter
If your phone's touch screen is completely unresponsive, you can try using a USB OTG adapter cable to connect a mouse or keyboard directly to your phone.
1. Get an OTG adapter cable that matches your phone.
2. Connect a USB mouse or keyboard to your phone using the adapter cable.
3. Use the mouse or keyboard to navigate on your phone screen and access your data.
4. Copy and paste the data you want to recover to a new folder or external storage device.

Dinteste1860 Based on my own experience, Samsung Smart Switch has compatibility issues with Windows 11, especially if the software hasn't been updated to fully support the latest OS. Ensure you have the latest version of Samsung Smart Switch installed. Visit the official Samsung website to download the most recent version. Compatibility issues can often be resolved by updating the software.
In addition, your Samsung Galaxy phone may not be recognized by Smart Switch when connected to your Windows 11 PC. Sometimes, Smart Switch requires specific drivers to recognize your device. You can manually install these drivers from the Samsung website or by connecting your device to the PC and allowing it to install drivers automatically.
If you do have problem for recovering data from Samsung phone with broken screen on Windows PC, please try other suggestions instead.
