Re: Add SharePoint site as a App to the Teams
Penglert I recommend you use the Viva Connections app. It is the supported method by Microsoft and gets updated. You can even set the Viva Connections app to show the SharePoint landing page as a default, skipping the Viva Connections landing page, making it very similar to your current situation. Setting up the default experience to SharePoint instead of Viva Connections landing: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/connections/edit-viva-home#choose-the-default-landing-experience-for-viva-connections-desktop15KViews1like3CommentsHub navigation wrong location
I am developing a SharePoint intranet site that I registered as a hub site. After that, I wanted to replace the root site with this newly developed site and I unregistered the hub site as it is required to replace the root site. That worked out fine. After that some issue occurred when I wanted to register the site we developed as a hub. The old hub registration seemed to be still present. I used PowerShell to remove the registration (Re: Removed Hub Site still display as Hub Site - Microsoft Tech Community). After that I can reregister the site as a hub site. However, the old hub navigation is still there. Now using the Extended header, the hub site navigation is showing up at the location where normally the site navigation would be. Tried unregister and register the site as a hub but the navigation is not showing at the right location no matter what I do. Any suggestions on how I can delete de old menu? Clearing al the items does not work.2.3KViews0likes5CommentsRe: Blank page when opening document library with filter pane open
kspoelker we have not found a solution yet. Refresh with Shift + F5 works most of the times. Otherwise deleting the browser cache. Also IE and Edge (not chromium based) do not seem have this issue. We are working on the case with Microsoft support, without succes so far.2.5KViews0likes0CommentsBlank page when opening document library with filter pane open
We experience an issue in SharePoint Online with document libraries. When opening a filter pane in a document library, navigate to another section of the site, navigate back to the document library the site shows a blank page. We tested this in multiple tenants with multiple browsers, all of them show similar results. Does anyone else experience this behavior?2.6KViews0likes2CommentsHighlighted content webpart: filter on title current page
I want to make a page template with a highlighted webpart on it. The webpart needs to show relevant content based on the page title. What I would like the webpart to do is get the page title and filter the documents based on that so user don't have to manually populate the value field. Is there a way to make filtering dynamic and use the current page title as a value for filtering the search result within the webpart?1.8KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Page properties not visible for filtering news webpart
Susan_HanleySo you would advise building a new site? Not just a new library? Recreating is not really a big issue but I want to spend as little time as possible on this. So if recreating a new library will suffice I would obviously go for that option. Will try creating a new library anyway.24KViews0likes9CommentsRe: Page properties not visible for filtering news webpart
So I created a test site, custom contenttypes and added them to the Sitepages library. Now the columns show up as a filter. Even deleted the default contenttype for the Sitepages library and the filters still show up. So how do I move forward on this? I tried deleting and adding the custom contenttypes but no matter what I do I can only pick Title as a filter.24KViews0likes11CommentsRe: Page properties not visible for filtering news webpart
Thank you for your reply Susan. Yes I have added the site column to the Site Pages library. I also checked to box to apply to all content types. The page on which I want to use the filtered webpart is on the same site as the news pages itself (even in the same library actually). I can use the columns as filters in the Site Pages library but they do not show in the filter option within the news webpart.24KViews0likes17CommentsPage properties not visible for filtering news webpart
We created a modern communication site to use as an intranet site. On that site we want to use two news webparts: one for corporate messages and one for news with lower importance. I want to use a filter one a custom (site) column in the site pages library: important messages, which is a yes/no type. This is one of a few custom site columns we created. None of the columns show up in the news webpart page properties filter. Only the title is available. Do we need to change something in the columns to make them show up?Solved32KViews0likes29Comments
