Issues with Support
Hi we have been a partner for years, but lately there has been some issues with our account we have a few support tickets and the tickets stay open with no activity, we also tried to get our partner manager to help, (we got a new one this Jan) and they could/did not do anything either, just wanted to check with the community if y'all had any advice on this and how we can get this escalated since some of the tickets do have some business impact to our day to day businessRe: Differences in the payment schedules
I do not have exact dates (after a few years of trying to figure it out we kind of gave up and assume that it will take 5 months to get the money, but we have some still pending from March). But basically Enterprise means they are customers that have an Enterprise agreement with Microsoft meaning they already paid/have automatic payments, these are the fastest to pay out the money, in my experience it is 1-2 months, Pay as You Go is the customers that they put the credit card and pay that way (they are usually smaller Microsoft customers under 100K of Azure spend), those take longer to get paid out, in average it is 3-5 months I assume it is based on when their end of month is and when they pay their bill but this is just an assumption based on me looking at the dashboards.53Views2likes0CommentsRe: Issues with Partner Support
Hi Jill, Thanks for offering to help. I am trying to get some help with Co-Sell since our numbers were not populating into the cosell portal. But it seems that after an hour of me posting here, an FTE reached out in the email thread so hopefully they help. Thanks,204Views1like1CommentIssues with Partner Support
I am having some problems with Partner support (created a ticket over a month ago and they kept asking for information saying that it was ok and then asking for the same information again and in the last two weeks they just ignore the emails). I am wondering if anyone else has have similar issues in the past and how can we escalate this (Usually based on the v- account I can contact some of my contacts in Microsoft and they can help me escalate within the team, but it seems that the partner support team uses the generic email address removed for privacy reasons)?Having Trouble Updating Tax Profile
Hi Community, Anyone else having trouble updating the tax profile? I got a notification that I had to update it, I went in updated it (I even have the notification that I can't dismiss, of someone updated your tax profile), and then it still shows as action needed. I have submitted two customer support requests, one was closed without ever contacting me and the other they said they would look into it, and over a week has passed and they don't respond to my emails. Does anyone know if there is a solution for this on my side?Advice for Starting a MarketPlace Transactable Offer
Hi All, After having 4 different transactable offers in the marketplace I wanted to share some points on the design and things that we have learned at https://www.keytos.io/ to save you the pain while integrating. 1. If you are planning on creating multiple offers in marketplace or have an offer that will be hosted in the customer's tenant create a microservice that is in change of talking to the Azure Marketplace and have all your offerings talking to that Microservice. It will save you a lot of time in credential management and setup for each offering (and also look into automatically rotating the Application credential you use to talk to the marketplace don't want to miss on some revenue for an expired credential). 2. When creating your signup pages and management pages, make sure you think of different plans that you are going to have such as private offerings, you do not want to show all your customers your private offerings and pricing. 3. Keep track of the success of your meetered posts to Azure marketplace and set some retry logic (and fail-safes to ensure you are not double charging customers). 4. Add a trial and have clear documentation, users love self-service in Azure, they are used to that from all the Azure services. Those are all the things I can think of at the moment but if you have any questions I am always happy to help.1.2KViews4likes2Comments
