I have a sharepoint site with different permissions groups. When creating a new group and adding people,I will uncheck the box to send an email notification but it will send an email to everyone anyway. Is this a bug or am I missing something?
Ideally I would like to be able to add people or reconfigure what groups they are a part of without flooding everyone's inbox.

@Lalit Mohan I know there's a checkbox to prevent it sending an email invite but sending it unchecked still sent the emails.
