Access to Teams SharePoint site

Hello Everyone,

My apologies if my following question should be directed to the Azure group.

We have a private Teams SharePoint site. 

When I add members directly to the associated Azure group, the new user is presented with a screen to request access? Yet, when I click the view membership button on the site, the person already appears as a member. 

For our final site, we will likely use a SharePoint Communication site where access is based on Azure group membership.

Adding a User to associated azure group will add them to a team and should not have a request access screen. This is because it's there Teams get's it permission from.

I would recommend you creating a support ticket for this, as it sounds like a bug
