Images appear blurry on Power App when source is from Sharepoint List image column
I used the "Data-centred mobile app" app template to create a Power App from a SharePoint List. This template automatically creates 3 types of screens: Browse, Detail, Edit/Create. One of my Sharepoint columns contains images which I want to display in on of the screens in the app. The template automatically parks this image as a Datacard. One of the images, which is different in dimensions to the others, comes out blurry. I tried changing the image dimensions, but it doesn't solve the problem. Hi, I have a Power Automate approval flow (specifically, instant type) in SharePoint Online that uses Premium connectors. It is correct that only page's Authors who start the approval flow needs an Premium Per User license because the flow runs in their context? On the other hand, isn't it required that flow's Approvers also have a Premium Per User license? In particular, this is what is meant here when in the Faq for terms "runs": Instant flows (button, hybrid triggers) run in the context of the user who invokes them, regardless of the connections used in the flow. If an automated or scheduled flow uses a premium connector, only the owner needs to have a Premium license. If an instant flow has premium connectors, every user who runsthe flow needs a Power Automate Premium license. In such cases, instead of licensing every user, you can license the flow with a Process license. I have a simple approval Flow set up using a SharePoint list. The flow triggers when item is added to the list and the flow always includes a PDF document for the approver to consider in the approval step. The SharePoint list updates once the flow is approved. However I need to get a digital signature on the actual PDF document after the flow is approved and looking for any suggestions on automating use of digital signatures on documents. If this task can not be automated I can manually do it if someone can show me where I can find an audit log of the Flow. If I can access a audit log showing evidence of the approval that would suffice.sariddNov 02, 2024Copper Contributor55KViews0likes22CommentsTrigger flow from web part
Hi, I'm pretty new to sharepoint and I'm wondering if there is a way to directly trigger a flow from my sharepoint web part instead of in the list page. Right now I have a button in a list to start a flow and it only works in the list page, not the web part. Is there a workaround for this? Thank you!mingykOct 31, 2024Copper Contributor9.5KViews0likes3CommentsCan't create folders or files in a new sharepoint site after it is created in Power Automate
I'm encountering issues when creating Team sites via Power Automate. Specifically, the "General" folder and private channel folders are not being generated as expected. I've attempted using the _api/web/lists/ensureSiteAssetsLibrary endpoint, but the issue persists. Please refer to the attached image to see the specific error. The warning message within the red circle reads: "A mistake occurred while retrieving the channel's SharePoint URL."HoSFonnanOct 30, 2024Copper Contributor56Views0likes0CommentsCapture two Forms responses into one item in a SharePoint list
Hello Im trying to turn a paper workflow digital. It is used to setup new suppliers in our finance system. So, imagine we want to buy software from a new supplier, we need to add them to the finance system so we can raise a purchase order to buy the software. At present we fill in a PDF form with the name of the new supplier and a description of what they do e.g. "Fred Bloggs Software, GIS software suppliers" The PDF form is then emailed to the supplier who fills in their details such as bank account details, tax references etc etc. They then email the completed PDF form to our Finance people who manually type the information into the finance system to set them up... So how can I do this? Im thinking this: Form 1: Internal user provides the name of the new Supplier and the nature of their business and an email address for them. Submits the Form. This creates a record in a SharePoint list. This also triggers an email to the supplier with a link to: Form 2. The supplier provides their bank details, tax references, address, email address for remittance advice etc. When they submit Form 2 it adds their details to a SharePoint list so that their information is appended to the information submitted in Form 1 Im thinking I will have to use the unique ID of each record in the SharePoint list to add the data from Form 2 to the data from Form 1 on the same line/record. Thanks for any thoughts. Adam. P.S the data in the SharePoint list can only be visible to finance staff, nobody else should see the content (bank details etc...)SolvedAdamAtTheMuseumOct 29, 2024Copper Contributor3KViews0likes2CommentsGet Latest Comment from Version History in Column

Dear Microsoft community, we are desperately trying to solve the issue since Microsoft stopped supporting the SharePoint News connector. We were trying to use the workaround that MS proposed but it's just not working. Can someone help me to setup a workflow that is posting the recent news in our news channel so that colleagues can start conversations about it? Thanks. We have 2 type of licenses for users inside our Office 365 for Power Platform :- 1) Seeded license through E1 & E3. for most users 2) Premium license. for managers and service accounts now we mainly have 1 Power Apps which uses SharePoint as the data source + 50 power automate flows which run mainly using a service account. Now I have a question as of October 2024, what is the maximum number of requests the users with seeded license + Premium license can do in power platform per 24 hours? for example back to June, i run too many flows while testing some workflows using a service account which have premium license, and i got this email from Microsoft:- So can i conclude that the maximum number for premium user is 1/2 million requests per day? if this is true? then what is the number for users with seeded licenses? Second question, till now we are not facing any issues with the maximum number of requests for users, but i am thinking in the future, if users with seeded licenses start to have issues due to the requests limit they can do per 24 hours,,, then what will be the best appraoch to follow? to upgrade those users to Premium or to license the Power Apps itself using per app plans ?
