Issue Accepting Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Agreement

Copper Contributor

Hello, having an issue accepting the cloud partner agreement while enrolling in Partner Center.

I am trying to accept the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Agreement, I have found my organization through DUNS and select continue. The Company Information section of the form comes up, with this error: "

The company name isn’t valid. Enter a valid legal company name." Our company via DUNS is "Formstack, LLC"

When I click on "Accept and Continue" from the Company Information section of the form, it loads for a moment but nothing happens.

I am unable to submit a ticket to support as I am not yet in a Workspace.  Any assistance would be much appreciated!

Hi Amar,

I would try in a different browser first, second, I would review this page an ensure you are following these steps.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/microsoft-partner-agreement
and third, I would try to open a support case with Frontline support.

You mentioned not being in a workspace but if you are in Partner Center, you should be able to click the "?" at the top right and go to support, as support doesn't live in any of the workspaces. If you can get there, follow these steps:

Login to Partner Center
Top right click the "?",
contact support
summary: agreement
workspace: enrollment
problem type: enroll->Microsoft Partner Agreement (MPA)
Review
Create

Let me know if you require further assistance.

Thanks,
Asher

@AsherNierman

Appreciate the help. I tried using another browser, on another laptop. Same issue. I then created a brand new Azure instance, a new tenant, and tried again - same problem. On the company information section, Microsoft is able to find my org and I can select it. I then get taken to the next screen and am prompted with the below error (see screenshot) however this is the legal set name as found by DUNS.

As far as requesting help, see the second screenshot - I cannot select a workspace, (I've tried entering the issue first as well) so it won't let me submit the ticket.

Thanks for sharing the screenshots.

It seems you may not have the proper access. Are you a global admin?

You can view your workspace access by clicking My Access.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/find-workspaces-roles-admins#find-your-workspaces

You can also check your role and ensure you have the proper role for membership workspace management
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/find-workspaces-roles-admins#find-your-roles

And here is additional info on role assignment and permissions.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/permissions-overview

See if you (or a global admin) needs to assign proper role and workspace access and in the meantime I will ping a colleague in support should neither of these help.

I would not create any more tenants, though.

Thanks,
Asher

@AsherNierman

Once gain, truly appreciate this! I checked and it looks like I have global admin access.

As mentioned, when finding my company via D-U-N-S and selecting it, I'm getting an error that says the company name is not valid (Formstack, LLC) I am not sure if that is the root cause of the issue or not, but would really appreciate a warm body to speak to in order to troubleshoot!

Please direct message me with your email and phone number, please.

Thanks,

I am experiencing the same issue. I have verified I am a Global Admin.
When finding my company via D-U-N-S and selecting it, I'm getting an error that says the company name is not valid (Perform Air International, Inc.)

@jaymcfarland I am having the same issue.

I was informed there should be an option to manually enter the information and bypass the DUNS.

Do y'all see that option?

Thanks,
Asher

@AsherNierman

When I try that option, I get a message "Company name is not Valid"company name.png

@AsherNierman is there an update to this? I am having the same issue

Amar_Makim, - To your specific inquiry, I was informed you should be logging into Partner Center with your normal work email. And to work with your Global Admin for additional access as necessary. Also, there is already an MPN account enrolled which is why you are receiving that message.

I have shared your issue with the team. Please open a Partner Center ticket at the top right. If you can't open a ticket, please DM me.

Thanks,
Asher

I cannot create a ticket because it wants a workspace, and I don't have any workspaces yet.
Sorry Asher, to clarify, an MPN account for Formstack already exists? Any idea how I might be able to recover that?

I do not have a normal Microsoft work e-mail. Partner Center instructions lead us to creating an Azure account and a Tenant which can then set up MPN, which I had done
Also, I am the global admin - as I had shown you in previous screenshots.
Im not able to troubleshoot with you here as I am not with technical support. You will need to work with Frontline Support for ongoing guidance. I did ask that they open the case with you. If you have been contacted via email, please work with Frontline support on that thread for the MPN, recovery, and enrollment questions. If that case hasn't been created, I will ensure that happens. Just let me know.

Thanks,
Asher
