Morning.
I have a report that i receive via email every hour (in case there are updates that need to be uploaded to one of our systems)
the emails are directed to a specific folder via a rule.
But instead of having an accumulation of 24 emails a day, I would like to only keep the latest one and delete the others (and not having to do that manually ) Is there a rule or policy i can use for this?
thanks

To automatically keep only the latest email and delete the older ones in Outlook, you can create a custom rule. Here is how you can set it up:
Now, whenever you receive an email, the rule will delay the delivery of the email by the specified number of minutes (e.g., 1 minute). During this time, if you receive a newer email that matches the rule, the previously delayed email will be deleted, keeping only the latest one.
This approach essentially implements a rule to keep only the latest email and delete the older ones automatically. Just make sure to set an appropriate delay time to avoid any conflicts with other emails you receive. The text and steps were edited with the help of AI.
