Onedrive can’t backup iphone live photos

How to backup iphone live photos with Onedrive?

My photos are always in heic format. However, when auto-backup to Onedrive, it is ALWAYS converted to jpg format! 

This is making me mad. I have reinstalled onedrive several times and it doesnt work at all. There is also no option to choose uploading the photos in their original formats in Onedrive settings. 

I am using a university account. Does that affect anything?

To do this, make sure you are on OneDrive app build 12.11 or higher and iOS 13 or higher. Then go to the OneDrive Settings > tap “Camera Upload” > tap “Reupload from Original Formats” > toggle ON the switch labeled “Reupload Still Photos as Live Photos”.
