- Question for small nonprofitsIf you work for a small (5-20 people) nonprofit or charity organisation, what types of information are you capturing using Excel spreadsheets (or paper)? This might include your volunteers, program participants, donors, assets, clients, etc. What other data are you managing? Have you tried finding off-the-shelf solutions to help you with managing it?289Views0likes6Comments
- Problems logging in to Microsoft non-profitHello everyone, I have signed up our non-profit organization for Microsoft Non-Profit and it was approved. In the approval-mail I was instructed to go to the "non-profit hub" to sign in and select the plans we would like to use. Unfortunately, when I try to log in at the non-profit hub, I am redirected to a blank page with just a loading circle spinning for all eternity (I've let it spin for 3 hours at one time). I've tried different browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) as well as different devices, the result remains the same. The username and password are correct - the former was additionally given in the approval-mail, the latter was checked several times. Is there another way to select the plans for our non-profit organization? Thanks in advance.880Views0likes12Comments

- Inability to login to non profit hubHello everyone, I have signed up our non-profit organization for Microsoft Non-Profit and it was approved. In the approval-mail I was instructed to go to the "non-profit hub" to sign in and select the plans we would like to use. (Nov 2024). I did this and created initial access. After some interval, in Aug 2025, I tried to access this but got a message that the user doesn't exist - I use my personal MS365 account, hence, the delay. I wanted to set up access for a couple of other users at the non profit. I've tried different browsers (Edge, Chrome, Safari, Firefox) as well as different devices, the result remains the same. The username and password are correct - the former was additionally given in the approval-mail, the latter was checked several times. Also contacted Techsoup - got an email but no resolution. How does this grant get re-activated? Will appreciate a meaningful response. Thanks in advance.7Views0likes0Comments
- Issue with Non-Profit Licenses – Credit Card RequiredHello, Our organization has been accepted into the Microsoft Non-Profit program, and we have been granted 10 donated licenses. However, in order to obtain them, I need to purchase them, even though the cost is 0 euros. I understand this is an administrative process to acquire the licenses. The problem is that the system requires me to enter a credit card. I tried using a prepaid Mastercard, but it was not accepted. Unfortunately, our organization does not have a credit card. Is there any way to obtain these licenses without providing a credit card number? Thank you for your help. Best regards, Nasim Saleh Madani Foundation for Development201Views1like4Comments

- Microsoft 365 Solutions for Faith-based OrganizationsThe loss of Charlie Kirk last week is a deeply tragic moment for faith-based communities who have been inspired by his leadership and vision. In times of grief, organizations often seek meaningful ways to honor such legacies and continue uplifting their missions. The Microsoft 365 platform offers a powerful foundation for faith-based organizations to build applications that support connection, outreach, and growth—for example, church management systems, volunteer coordination tools, secure prayer request platforms, community engagement apps, event scheduling, and digital resource libraries. With Microsoft 365 Copilot and related AI-driven solutions, Christian organizations can streamline communications, create safer virtual spaces, and foster collaboration, helping communities come together, heal, and move forward with renewed purpose and unity. The key question though is how to do all this in a cost-conscious manner? Many of the faith-based charitable organizations that I provide volunteer assistance for are cash-strapped as it is, and with Microsoft starting to pull back its support for 501c(3) organizations, how are others approaching this dilemma? Is there a AI community dedicated towards non-profit organizations?37Views0likes0Comments

- We are being rejected for azure grantDear Microsoft, We need help regarding azure grant. I as a founder and representative of non profit association "Ekviti" in Serbia, tried to register our association in Microsoft non profits program. We were accepted, we have emails, subscribed for 9 licenses and all is fine except we are getting rejected for azure grant. I have added all of the documentation we could think of, but we never got what is actually needed? Last answer from support/team for azure grant was: We have been unable to determine your relationship to the nonprofit organization and are unable to process your account for Nonprofit offers. we would appreciate help from Microsoft side to know what should we provide. We are building awesome app that will help build society awareness for helping others and improving life. We are working on it for 4 years and we plan to go live in 1 year, you can check our website https://ekviti.rs/en/. There are 7 of us as board members, all developers, we been working in .net for a 8 years and really enjoy it, this grant would help us achieve our dream in which people are competing to do good, that is what this app is for. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Marko Todorovic on behalf of Ekviti80Views1like1Comment
- Discontinuation of M365 Business Premium Grant Deeply Disappointing,Harmful to Small NonprofitsAs a Microsoft CSP partner supporting multiple nonprofit organizations, I am extremely disappointed by the decision to discontinue the Microsoft 365 Business Premium grant. This change disproportionately affects small nonprofits that rely on these tools to fulfill their missions with limited resources. The justification that this is about “alignment” or “sustainability” is disingenuous. Let’s be honest—this is a revenue-driven decision that undermines Microsoft’s long-standing commitment to empowering nonprofits. Removing access to essential tools like Office desktop apps and Intune from the grant program forces small organizations into paid plans they cannot afford, jeopardizing their operations and security. Microsoft has built goodwill in the nonprofit sector over the years. This move erodes that trust. I urge you to reconsider this decision or at least provide a longer transition period and more flexible options for small nonprofits. Please do better. The nonprofit sector deserves more than a corporate cost-cutting maneuver disguised as a strategic realignment.425Views4likes2Comments
- Still confused by the nonprofit switch by MicrosoftI am so sorry if this is duplicated, but everywhere I turn, the information is different. Currently, we have the following and number of licenses for each: (3) Business Premium expire 10/1/2025 (4) Power Automate with an expiration of n/a (4) Nonprofit portal expire 4/20/2033 (5) 365 E1 with expire of 4/24/26 As for Power Automate and Nonprofit Portal, I think there is no change to those (although I have no idea what they are). Tech Soup is saying that https://cloud.techsoup.org/product/?id=325C813E-15C3-4995-837F-B18F00828ED1 is $1 per month per license, but I read in other venues that there are 10 donated. Microsoft hosts our email. We have 3 email addresses are used for both email and One Drive. We have another 2 that are desktop locations that really do not use email but use One Drive and we have 1 that we only use as an email for a specific project. This means we have 6 email addresses, as some are in 1 license group and not the other. I am so confused. I don't understand why we have both Business Premium and 365 E1. And why there are some email addresses are in both but not all. Because 365 E1 does not expire until 4/24/26, does that mean I do not have to do anything until next April for those email addresses that are listed in this category. But would need to change for the email addresses in Business Premium, even though some are in both? I do understand the web-version vs desktop options.127Views0likes0Comments

- AI in IDDHere is a little bout how I am using AI in IDD. Our licensed Co-Pilot, has proven to be incredibly productive and time-saving, especially in reviewing documents for errors against regulations, identifying discrepancies between various care plans for the same individual, analyzing and summarizing documents for relevant information in investigations (reducing the closure time from 90 days to 7), suggesting corrective actions for internal/external audits, trending data sets (such as surveys, assessments, and audits), and proposing opportunities and solutions in light of the regulations. AI can audit documents, policies, and procedures with extreme accuracy against 6400 and 6100 regulations (PA regs). We have recently implemented this solution to streamline and audit our Medicaid billing process prior to submission. It enables us to identify billing errors, uncover unbilled days we should be billing for, and flag days we should not be billing - significantly reducing the time required for this process from 30 hours to 4 for a months' worth of billing. For systems that are not directly compatible with AI integration, we leverage AI to develop macros that process raw data exports. This allows us to extract precisely the information we need in seconds, rather than spending hours on manual analysis.240Views3likes6Comments
- Are you happy and successful with Dynamics?I'd love to chat with a mid-sized nonprofit (in the 20-50 staff range +/-) that is up and running with Dynamics (whether or not they are using F&E), using it across more than one department, and generally satisfied with how things are going. I'm curious how much customization is in place, how much iteration has happened since go-live, what your tech stack looks like, how much is managed internally by an admin vs externally by a partner/managed services, and the LOE for getting an admin up to speed and/or expectations for ongoing partner support (cost, hours per month, etc). To be totally transparent, we have found Dynamics more difficult to work in than expected and would like to understand from others whether our expectations are realistic or not. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to chat!277Views0likes2Comments
- Let's Connect - Share Your LinkedIn ProfileHello all and welcome. Someone suggested on the kick-off webinar that it would be great to have a place for folks to share their LinkedIn profiles if they were willing to do so. I suggested starting a thread on here. 😀 I suggest just adding a comment below to add yours and I'll share a link to this thread in the follow up email (if you're here you likely already received the email. 😁). I'll start - here is my profile link: https://www.linkedin.com/in/petraeimiller/169Views0likes2Comments
