Teams not working on iPhone

Teams works on both my desktop and laptop but stopped working on my iPhone.  It will not accept the credentials I use successfully on other devices.  I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled as well as rebooted the phone.  I have tried to log in using another account with the same problem.

When I look in Settings>Apps and Passwords there is no listing for Teams.

What is the solution?

No, I did not need it before. The App worked for over a year.
      • Bryan-66 I would try installing it and see if it makes a difference. Makes using all your Microsoft Apps a much more seamless experience with single login.

I have had Teams on my Iphone XR for 3 months and it worked great.  Since yesterday, when I open the app, it stills on the screen for 2 seconds and disappears.  Can someone help with this.  I have looked to ensure I have cellar on, it is.  I have deleted 3 times and downloaded again and the same thing keeps happening.  Please help.

I had same issue just now, same phone.  You need to clear your cache for Teams.

      Settings

scroll all the way down and select TEAMS

      Select "clear app data" button.

      Close/reopen TEAMS

      All good!

Bryan-66 I have the same issue on my wife's iPhone X. She just installed the app today for the first time. It never worked from the get go. When launching the app from the Apps page, it opens up with the "Teams" logo for 3-5 seconds then it's back to the Apps page. It's definitely crashing. Works on PC & Mac and even Android, but Teams is crashing on iPhone.

Could you help me with the same issue?
I have followed the instructions in the posts, but nothing works.
The app does not recognise the credentials (passcode).
Even changing the password does not help. It still mentions my credentials are "incorrect."

It's gotta be Teams app problem. Having same exact issue both on iPhone and iPad as for few weeks now. With authenticator and without, same thing. Outlook and Intune are working fine. On the iPhone it somehow fixed itself and finally took my creds.

psined1 Mine began working again a few weeks back, no explanation.  Even our IT helpdesk folks didn't know how to explain, but thought they'd seen similar reports on the web (probably ours).

  • I have an iPhone as well and one day my Teams got stuck on a screen and all I could see was my messages from one particular day only (messages weren't updating as they came through, although I used to get the notifications correctly). I signed out but it only used to display the login page and when I entered my credentials, it used to keep buffering and not actually log me in. Re-installing didn't work as well. So I kept it uninstalled for 2 weeks and when I reinstalled, everything was back to normal. Might be a cache issue or a bug. Bryan-66

Try resetting your Teams app settings on your iPhone. Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage, find Teams, and offload the app. After that, reinstall it.  If the issue persists, check if there’s a Teams-specific setting or update on your iPhone that might be causing the problem.
