Hi,
I have a requirement to develop a kind of extension/app for MS Teams to take a screenshot of the desktop and insert it into the chat window during meetings. A screenshot option should be added in the meetings control bar along with mute & chat options.
Can anyone suggest how this can be achieved for MS Team on Windows & Mac?

That will be the last option but for ease of use trying to bring the screenshot option within Teams.

You can screenshot in power automate for desktop. I would expect you'll want to create a cloudflow triggered from within a powerapp that triggers a desktop flow that takes the screenshot, then triggers another cloud flow to take the screenshot and post into your chat.
I'm afraid I'm not comfortable enough with power automate to help further, but hopefully that helps you with future searching. I am unaware of how you could get a button on the chat screen though, hopefully someone else can help more!

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried to use power automate but it doesn't have an option for the user to select the screenshot.

Appologies, I haven't done it but I ,now there are ways to get dynamic content between Power automate Cloud flows and PowerAutomate Desktops flows, I think that's the route you're looking to go down. Best of luck!
