@Ralphross What if you create the poll as organizer but your attendees do not have presenter rights which you can define in meeting options? According to support page only meeting owners and presenters can create, manage, and launch polls. Meeting attendees have the ability to respond to polls, but aren't able to edit them. So no co-presenter will delete or close your polls.
