I just installed the new Teams and my Mac no longer connects to the internet. What do I do now?

I found and implemented a solution to fix this issue by removing proxies added to my network settings after installing the new Teams app. The moderator suggested I post this here to get any Devs involved in solving this issue. Until the proper QA has been done, I won't be attempting to install the new Teams.

Teams asked me to try the new App. After installing, my Mac was unable to connect to the internet. Connecting to WIFI is no problem, and the connection is fine. All other devices in my home can connect. What happened, how do I fix this and why wasn't this app tested properly?

EDIT:

After researching and with some trial and error, I found a solution by removing proxies from my WiFi network's details. This was either not an issue or the proxies didn't exist prior to installing the new Teams. The instant the new Teams app installed and opened, this issue would start. Please look into this, as it would be extremely unlikely that the timing was a coincidence. I am using a MacBook Pro 16-inch 2019.

This issue still persists after the latest push from Microsoft to update to the new app. I'm not sure if this thread has gone unnoticed, but I hope someone will look at this and fix the issue. Ideally, others who also have this problem are relaying the same information to support in attempts to get them to work on this.
