Applied Skills assessment has been retired - generative AI solutions
Dear Microsoft , I hope this message finds you well. I have thoroughly considered various platforms to educate myself in generative AI, seeking a training that offers an assessment to provide tangible proof of skills acquired. After careful deliberation, I decided to invest my time and effort into Microsoft Learn. I diligently worked through the course, motivated by the prospect of completing the assessment. However, to my disappointment after completing my coursre, I now discovered that the relevant Applied Skills assessment has been retired in the meantime, with the message: "This Applied Skills assessment has been retired. Explore other Applied Skills to keep building your skills." https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/applied-skills/develop-generative-ai-solutions-with-azure-openai-service/#applied-skill-take-the-assessment This situation is quite disheartening as I was anticipating being able to validate my newly acquired skills with this assessment. Now, after dedicating considerable effort to this learning path and foundation learning pathes, I find myself unable to demonstrate my proficiency. And there is no other assessment that fits as alternative. That is frustrating and I have doubts about the reliability of Microsoft Learn. The learning material is still up to date und I finished the hands out with the exercise material provided. I would greatly appreciate any assistance or guidance you can provide regarding this matter. Is there an alternative way to obtain certification for the skills I have developed? Renewal exam expired and not offered anymore
Hi, I missed the renewal exams for: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/certifications/m365-administrator-expert/ and https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/certifications/m365-security-administrator/ ironically because i was deep involved on an Azure migration. Is there a way to extend this renewal so my credential doesnt show as expired or i have to go thru it all over again with the new exams? Hello All - I put together a Power Automate Flow where the submitter can choose from a list of events in a MS Form. After the form is submitted, the submitter is added to all of the calendar invites that they chose in the MS Forms list. The problem is, every time someone submits a form, everyone who submitted the form before them, receive an updated calendar invite. I've tried to add recipients to the 'Required', 'Optional', and 'Resource' fields. They all send updates to all attendees. Anyone have any advice on how to stop Outlook from sending updates to all attendees? Here is my flow:
Business Units and Departments within Entra
I am trying to build out users information, and I realized that I am not sure how/if Microsoft has a way of handling business units? If I have a user John Smith who is under the Tech Services BU, and manages his own department called R&D. How would I build out that Org structure within Entra? I would assume that this exists somewhere, and I am just missing it. The idea is so that the Org chart shows properly within Teams.
Nieuwe outlook agenda's synchroniseren
Ik gebruik de nieuwe Outlook op mijn 2 mac's, een Macbook Air en een Mac Studio. Ik ben van de oude naar de nieuwe outlook overgestapt en met mijn mail, mailaccounts en mappen is alles prima verlopen, ik kan op beide computers alles doen en dat is dan ook zichtbaar op beide computers. Maar nu wil ik ook mijn agenda's kunnen bewerken en zien op beide mac's maar dat lukt mij maar niet, de agenda'a worden niet gesynchroniseerd. Mijn agenda's staan vermeld onder het onderdeel 'Op mijn computer', misschien moet ik dat anders gaan aanpakken omdat wellicht de ene Mac de andere niet kan lezen en andersom. Ik ontvang graag jullie suggesties.
Retrieving tye schema of the scanned asset files into synapse pyspark notebook
Hi there, we are having a purview account,synapse with pyspakr, storage account. We are scanning the files in purview that are stored in storage, we are able to see the schema in purview for those files,now we are trying to retrieve the schema f for the column in those files in synapse pyspark notebook. We are doing this coz we want to dynamically create the tables in sql database using these column schemas for hese files. But for that need to retrieve this schema. Can anybody tell how we can do that? Thanks in adv. Also ,in the article the code is connecting to storage account and reading file ,not sure why it needs to connect to storage account when we are trying to get the schema from purview .Enable domain users sign in to Windows client using biometrics

I've read some post on this topic like this https://www.makeuseof.com/allow-block-biometrics-windows-11/ I selected (via gpedit)domain users sign feature in one client machine but its fingerprint remains stile disabled. So I guess that it's necessary to operate on AD (server). Can you explain to me how to do? Many thanks.
