unexpected loss of access to Microsoft on Mac

I have been accessing Microsoft for years with no concerns. When I came to access it today I have seen a notification stating I need to rebuy the package. There has been no indication of this before and I was wondering if anyone had experienced the same thing?

Are you using Microsoft \ Office 365? And subscription still valid?
