63 TopicsSOS - Global Administrator Lockout Due to MFA
Dear Community, I am reaching out in the hope that someone can guide me on how to directly contact Microsoft's Data Protection Team regarding an ongoing MFA lockout issue. This problem has persisted for over 2 weeks, and despite my best efforts, I have been unable to make any progress toward a resolution. Every time I call the regional support numbers to follow up on my ticket (#2411120040006887), I am redirected by the IVR to Microsoft Online Support, but no meaningful resolution has been provided. As the sole Global Administrator for my tenant, no alternate verification methods and without support partners to turn to, this situation has left me completely unable to perform my duties. Currently, I am unable to sign in to any Microsoft services and I urgently need assistance to reset my MFA settings and add new verification methods to regain access. This lockout has made it impossible to manage user accounts, licenses, and other critical administrative tasks, which is severely impacting our operations. The frustration and disruption caused by this issue cannot be overstated. If anyone can advise on how to escalate this matter or connect with the appropriate team to resolve it, I would be deeply grateful for your insights and support. Thank you in advance for your understanding and assistance.30Views0likes1CommentHow to open Office file in react web App?

So, I'm working in a corporate company and we had services purchased like Azure, PowerBI etc. that we were paying for a long time. And until today I was logging in with the Admin email to the 365 admin portal with my admin account. but today when I try that Email has lost it's admin privileges. And so to recover that account I tried directly connecting through the phone call which also had to go through an automated voice assistant. And even after finally connected with the call. the only way they were about to provide a help was to telling them what is the current admin account's email address. which is like the reason why we called them because we have a security breach and don't know who did that. And I had all my previous admin accounts with credentials and all payment details etc. but I had to talk to some guy for like 20 minutes that just repeating the same thing like tell me the current admin email so w can help you further. Like if I know that why would I even call them. And I have all the details of my previous info but how can I know what the email that the attacker has used in just one day.180Views0likes1CommentActivating MS Authenticator for MS365

Hey everyone, I created a microsoft loop workspace and mentioned some coworkers on a loop page and therefore giving them access to the page. If I now want to revoke access the message "grant access is not available because you are not the owner of this item" shows, even though I am the owner of the entire workspace. Happy to hear suggestions on how to solve this!515Views0likes1CommentMicrosoft 365 licensing for MFA seems to be one big joke?
I think licensing for M365 MFA is one big joke from Microsoft in these days. Let me explain: Let's say in our organization we have 100 users. We have 50 users with MS Entra ID Premium P1 licenses. The rest 50 users don't have any MS Entra ID premium license. Now because we had problems with MFA in past we decided to go to Conditional Access to create our custom login flows to avoid any problems we had. But because Conditional Access is only for users with Premium license we can use it only for 50 users. For the rest 50 users we can't use Security Defaults (which were disabled on our tenant since begging of times). We also can't use M365 per-user MFA because MS documentation says so: "You should also turn off per-user MFA after you've configure your policies and settings in Conditional Access." So overall in this example the only option for us how to get MFA for the rest 50 users is to buy more premium licenses. Yes you can say we don't need MFA for the rest 50 users but let me tell you that's not an option. Certain Microsoft portals requires MFA and they are not accessible for user or through API until you activate MFA for the user! So congratulations Microsoft. You business plan how to get as much money from your tenants is absolutely legendary. This is one big joke...Solved861Views0likes6CommentsBug Report: Icon Upload Popup Displays Crashed Default Image
Dear Microsoft Teams Developer Support, I am writing to report a bug encountered in the Microsoft Teams Developer Portal. After deploying my app to the Developer Portal, I attempted to upload an icon for my app via the Developer Portal under the path: Developer Portal > App > Branding. However, upon clicking the "Upload Icon" button, the popup that appears shows a crashed default image for both the outline icon and the color icon. Steps to Reproduce: Deploy an app to the Microsoft Teams Developer Portal. Navigate to Developer Portal > App > Branding. Click on the "Upload Icon" button. Observe the popup that appears, displaying the crashed default image for both the outline and color icons. Expected Behavior: The popup should display the current default icon or a placeholder image, allowing me to upload a new icon without any visual issues. Actual Behavior: The popup displays a crashed default image, which is the same for both the outline icon and the color icon, making it unclear if the icon upload will be successful. Screenshots: Please see the attached screenshot illustrating the issue.223Views0likes0CommentsAccess Denied: Development Pathways Restricted by Protocol BARRIERS_MX-502
Microsoft Build 2024 was anticipated with excitement, but the reality was more disheartening. Valuable tools and learning resources, discussed extensively at Build, remain inaccessible to many developers due to restrictive access requirements. Accessing Microsoft's development pathways has become increasingly difficult for independent developers, particularly with the introduction of Copilot Studio. Despite the excitement around its potential, the requirement for an organizational 'work' or 'school' account creates a significant barrier. Microsoft 365 business subscriptions, necessary for these organizational accounts, are not feasible for many individual developers due to their cost and the nature of their work. Additionally, the alternative—an MSDN subscription—is not a practical solution for everyone. This situation leaves many developers unable to experiment with and utilize Copilot Studio and other advanced tools. The frustration is palpable, as independent developers are effectively excluded from accessing resources that could enhance their skills and contributions. At this year's Build conference, the excitement around new tools and features quickly turned to disappointment for many. The realization that these tools were out of reach due to restrictive access requirements overshadowed the innovations presented. This practice seems inconsistent with Microsoft's open-source philosophy and its stated commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive developer community. It’s a frustrating reality for many developers who are eager to learn and innovate but are hindered by access barriers. Moreover, this exclusionary practice contradicts the principles of Responsible AI Practices. By restricting access to advanced development tools like Copilot Studio, Microsoft is inadvertently creating a divide that hampers the inclusive growth and ethical deployment of AI technologies. Ensuring broad and equitable access is crucial for the responsible advancement of AI, and current policies need to reflect this imperative. Barriers hinder innovation. Deleted328Views0likes0Comments
