Access Freezing
This has been bothering me for some time now. When I'm working in Access (which is alot of the time), I have been noticing that when I edit a field, label, etc. using the Shift+F2, after I edit the field and hit Enter for the changes to be accepted, Access comes to a screeching halt. Sometimes it is a matter of seconds. Other times, it will go until I hit Task Manager and end the process, which causes me to lose any of the changes I have made. And it seems to be more prevalent in the afternoons. Has anyone else run into this?
to big title bar in Office 365 update 2408
Hi all, since a couple of days I have to work with the ugly, annoying, awful, ... user interface in Office 365. The title bar size became horrible large. Compared with an explorer window from Win 10 it is nearly the double height. As an Office Poweruser (I'm working with the office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) unluckily the whole day) I'm looking for smallen the title bar again. There was a registry hack, but on my machine this isn't working anymore. Because of the ribbon interface and a lot of not needed functions this is how my Quick Access Toolbars (QAT) are looking like: Now somebody could tell my, "OK, switch the QAT to the top, so that the title bar get more sense! Problem is, that the monochrome icons are absolutly boring AND especially for Word I can't differ between my macros, which I set with different colours. The title bar is smaller because of the standard buttons and the search field, so that not all my most loved commands have space here Dragging the window can not be done with the title bar, as it was since the beginning of time. I need to find some space somewhere. Does someone have an idea to reduce the size of the title bar as it was before? Or does someone have an idea to colorize the icons, when they are inside the title bar? If I consider that the taskbar is also increasing in size, especially in WIN 11 where this isn't adjustable, both sides (top + bottom) in sum are steeling to many space. Cheers! Kay
MS 365 Settings changed and point to the wrong email address.
The MS support person directed me to change settings in an effort to consolidate two MS 365 accounts into one. In the process my access to the Outlook files in my primary address appear as those from the legacy address. I must receive emails separately to both and be able to send email from both as was the case before I lost functionality on March 12. Over ten hours on the phone with support did not yield a solution and I have submitted subsequent support requests that have been ignored. I cannot add the second email account to Outlook and efforts to change setting in MS 365 have not been effective.
Compliance licenses at tenant level
Hi, We are a small organization of about 200 employees, and we have following requirements. DLP policies configuration at Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint BYOD security Users should not be able to send files outside the org And so on as we evaluate We already have M365 Business Premium. However, after researching we figured out that M365 Business premium will alone not solve our requirements. May be compliance license will. We want to apply security policies at tenant level in our organization but definitely do not want every user to get licenses as this will be expensive for us and there is no requirement at all for our users. The question is, Is there a way to solve the above scenario?
Access Management Problem in Microsoft Loop
Hey everyone, I created a microsoft loop workspace and mentioned some coworkers on a loop page and therefore giving them access to the page. If I now want to revoke access the message "grant access is not available because you are not the owner of this item" shows, even though I am the owner of the entire workspace. Happy to hear suggestions on how to solve this!Security verification for 365 business account
I've tried everything to get a business account, different browsers, clearing cache, incognito mode, using different phone numbers etc - but it keeps failing at the last step (security verification) when entering my phone. number. It says "Something is wrong with that phone number. Try a different one." No matter what I do, it doesn't go past that. I've tried contacting Microsoft support for 2 weeks - I never get to an agent and then it disconnects me. This is my last attempt. I am based in South Africa, recently bought my business domain and I just want to set up a business account for 1-4 people.
Unlocking my Outlock file?
I’m using Microsoft 365. I want to unlock the pst file on my hard drive so I can back it up. In earlier days I’d just shut down Outlook, then let the backup copy the file. For the last few years (at least), that DOESN’T work. The file is locked. To unlock the Outlook PST file, I have to shut down the system, reboot, do the backup, THEN restart Outlook, which is aggravating to say the least. HOW do I get Outlook to let me back up the PST file?
