brunomacedo Being on Current Channel or Monthly Enterprise Channel is a hard requirement for the Microsoft 365 Apps to use Copilot. You will have to talk to whoever owns admin permissions in your environment to get your install switched from Semi-Annual to either Current or Monthly Enterprise.

Sep 18, 2024Copilot for Microsoft 365 is only available if the Microsoft 365 Apps are configured to run on Current or Monthly Enterprise Channel. Launch Word, Check File > Account. In the 'About Word' section it states your update channel. If this is something different from Current or Monthly Enterprise Channel, you need to talk to your admin to get your device configured to run one of the two channels for Microsoft 365 Apps. Which indeed is something that doesn't make a lot of sense. My company bought the Copilot 365 for me and I can't use it because I am on Semi-Annual license. We're a company with over 80k employees, so you know how hard it is to simply "talk to the admin to change the type of license". It should be somehow automatic, on my opinion.

I changed my Office from monthly to current using "Method 2" on this site -

This simply updates the registry to set the switch to the desired value. Note I did not need to sign out and then back in as this page says, I simply ran the script
