Microsoft Copilot in Outlook: Automate Calendar Instructions & Meetings with AI

🚀 New Copilot Feature in Outlook: Calendar Instructions

Microsoft Copilot in Outlook just got smarter.

With Calendar Instructions, you can now teach Copilot how you want your meetings handled — and let AI do the heavy lifting.

✅ Set personal scheduling rules

✅ Let Copilot create, move, or update meetings for you

✅ Reduce back‑and‑forth and calendar overload

✅ Stay fully aligned with your preferences

In my latest video, I walk through:

What Calendar Instructions are

How they work in real scenarios

Why this is a big step forward for AI‑powered productivity in Microsoft 365

🎥 If you use Outlook daily, this is a feature you don’t want to ignore.

👉 Would you let Copilot manage your calendar automatically?

Curious to hear your thoughts 👇

Starting last week, the Copilot application has not been properly rendering generated images for several users - I have pasted several examples below, along with the errors I am receiving in various tools. Has anyone had a similar issue and/or been able to resolve it on their end? Is it possible to disable Copilot in Agent mode (i.e., return to Work mode)? Thank you! Please let me know if I can clarify with any additional details.

Automating the feedback collection process before reviews. Is it possible with Copilot?

Every quarter, our HR team manually emails people asking for peer feedback before reviews start. Its a huge time sink and half the responses come in late. Someone mentioned Copilot agents might be able to handle this, like automatically reaching out to the right people, collecting responses, and organizing them. Has anyone tried building something like this? Or is there a simpler way to automate 360 feedback collection in M365?

Got Copilot to use goal progress when drafting review feedback?

So I've been trying to experiment with how I use Copilot for performance management, reviews, goals, etc. When I manually feed goals, feedback results, etc into Copilot, it drafts pretty decent performance reviews. Now Im curious. Can I automatically feed these into copilot from any HR platform with API's or something? So it automatically views goal progress and drafts review feedback? I know if Viva Goals was still available, I would be able to do something along these lines. Anyone tried this?

Short survey: Feedback on Sensitivity Label Suggestions in Microsoft 365 Apps

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to gather feedback on user experiences with Sensitivity Label suggestions in Microsoft 365 apps.

This short survey aims to understand how label recommendations are working in practice and where improvements may be needed. Your responses will help identify common challenges and opportunities to make the label recommendation process more accurate, useful, and seamless for users.

Survey link: Experience with Recommended Sensitivity Labels in Microsoft 365 – Fill out form

The survey takes around 3 minutes to complete.
Your feedback will directly help us better understand real-world experiences with label suggestions.

Thank you very much for taking the time to contribute.

Microsoft 365 Copilot enables deep work but lacks durable project and artifact continuity

Copilot succeeds at reasoning, but outputs cannot be reliably retained, resumed, or transferred across sessions and devices.

This limits sustained use for serious work in Microsoft 365 scenarios where users expect continuity similar to Word, Excel, and OneDrive. This is not a UX polish issue — it is a workflow and demand‑growth constraint for advanced users who want Copilot as a long‑running work partner rather than a disposable assistant.

Copilot feels capable of being a first‑class Microsoft 365 collaborator, but today its lack of persistence prevents users from trusting it with real work.

Hello

I am currently facing an issue publishing an agent for testing purposes in Microsoft Copilot Studio. Despite having the license assigned, the publishing process is not functioning as expected. The pop-up reads,

"There are open issues with your agent

You currently do not have a user license that allows you to publish in Copilot Studio. Please contact your administrator to upgrade your license or enable the necessary permissions"

I have noticed some inconsistencies in how these permissions are applied, a teammate with the same license initially could not access the environment at all. After being granted a Teams license, they were able to access and publish successfully however, the agent is not appearing in Teams. Moreover, there is no option to add a knowledge base, tools or further functionalities to the agent at this time.

Could someone clarify the specific requirements for agent publishing? Do I need to contact my administrator to assign a role or do I need to be assigned a completely different license? Additionally, why would two users with identical licenses experience different environment access and visibility results?

Cannot Share Fabric Data Agent

I created Fabric Data Agent. I published it to M365 Copilot. I shared it to user A, B, C. I copy the link https://m365.cloud.microsoft/chat/?titleId=T_xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx&source=agentCenterDialog. I generated an QR Code using canva. User A, B, C tried to scan the QR Code using their phone, but it returned an error as seen in picture 1. However, when user A, B, C opened it via laptop browser, it was not error. how to solve this problem?

Copilot Notebook - No web search enabled

HI, It appears this just isn't a function of Notebook currently, and the only other post I see about it was from last year where someone couldn't get it to work. Does anyone know if this is a planned change to add it in the future? I'm not seeing the usefulness of Notebooks if it can only search internally. My SharePoint can do that without an extra step.

If it has since been added since last seen, does anyone know where the settings are for it so I can have our admins look? Our regular Copilot Work chats do allow web searches, so it's not that.

Copilot automation assumes OneDrive—hidden productivity cost in Google‑first environments

a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; }

We’re a Google‑first organization with a limited Microsoft 365 tenant. After recent Copilot updates, automation suggestions appear everywhere and feel “easy,” but nearly all meaningful automation requires files to live in OneDrive or SharePoint.

In a hybrid environment, this creates hidden costs: duplicate file management, copying between systems, increased version/corruption risk, and hours of admin work just to discover limitations mid‑workflow.

Copilot looks capable, but the storage and identity prerequisites aren’t explicit up front, so users lose time and trust.

Are there plans to better support hybrid scenarios (for example, Google Drive as a system of record), or to provide clearer in‑product guidance before suggesting OneDrive‑only automations?

Copilot for Outlook: Automatically Prioritize Your Inbox with AI (New Feature Explained)

🚀 Copilot for Outlook just got smarter: “Prioritize my inbox” is here ✉️🤖

Managing email overload is a daily challenge.

With the new “Prioritize my inbox” feature, Copilot for Outlook uses AI to automatically highlight what really matters — without delays or complex rules.

✅ Emails are classified as High, Normal, or Low priority

✅ Copilot explains why an email is important

✅ Priority rules are fully customizable

✅ Works across Windows, Mac, and mobile

Instead of spending time filtering and sorting, Copilot helps you focus on action‑required emails first — learning from your preferences over time.

I’ve just published a new video where I walk through:

How the feature works

How to enable it

Practical productivity scenarios

When it’s better than classic Outlook rules

🎥 Watch it here: https://youtu.be/91WuRsYlRvE

👉 I’m curious:

Would you trust AI to prioritize your inbox, or do you still prefer manual rules?

Power Apps Vibe + Copilot: Are we moving from coding to just describing apps?

With the new Power Apps Vibe experience, Copilot is making app development feel very different. What used to take hours - planning, data modeling, and UI setup - can now start with just a simple prompt.

I recently tried building a non-profit management app, and Copilot generated the full structure (data, roles, UI) in minutes. From there, I refined everything using natural language.

It really feels like we’re moving from building apps to describing ideas, and Copilot is doing a lot of the heavy lifting.

Curious to hear your thoughts:

Is this the future of app development?

Or mainly a powerful prototyping tool?

I shared a quick walkthrough here if you’re interested:

https://medium.com/@sajeda27/power-apps-vibe-coding-build-an-app-from-an-idea-in-minutes-ea9141908346

Single Agent vs Multi-Agent Architectures: When Do You Need Each?

As artificial intelligence systems grow more sophisticated, the question of how to structure them becomes increasingly important. One of the most fundamental design decisions is whether to use a single-agent architecture or a multi-agent architecture. While both approaches can solve complex problems, they differ significantly in how they scale, adapt, and handle complexity.
