Future Year and Renewals via Azure Marketplace- Best Practices to align the business
Many customers are modernizing and streamlining the purchasing through Azure Marketplace. Some ISVs license via an upfront payment for 1,2 or 3 years of software and services/SaaS model. If you have transacted many deals through Azure Marketplace, what best practices have you found to be most useful to understand what "renewal" private offers need to be created and which ones are coming due since there is not an auto notification feature for ISVs publishing the private offer?

Hello Brett - this isn't a best practice but trying to surface your question as its relevant to us as well. We publish most everything as flat rate private offers, and typically the amount for renewal is different every year. The way we manage this is with out other systems, out of band from Azure marketplace licensing portal and or our CRM system. That said, we would benefit from a simple way to set this type of notification in SaaS accelerator for example (I assume this is the purpose of the notifications mechanism but having a built in status/configurable email notification based on subscription term would be useful). Also, not sure if this is a challenge for you as well, but not being able to set recurring billing = off as default for these types of private offers means we chase customers a lot to set it to off while we are having them accept their renewal private offer.
