Linking excel data to graphs and tables in Powerpoint

Hi All,

 

I have a task which requires we to present a report on the same metrics each month/quarter. The report is required to be a powerpoint presentation.

 

As i have my data and information for each graph in excel, is there a way i can create a link from excel to powerpoint which will update once i have updated my data in excel? Or is there an option in Powerpoint to be able to store the data and create the graphs/ charts this way.

 

Please let me know any suggestions to help make this an efficent and simple process.

 

I have found i link a chart to excel, however it's a different excel file. I am hoping to have one excel which i can store all my data in for the charts.
