How to lock formulas

How do I protect cells with formulas in them?  I have a sheet that adds up values in columns and rows and I don't want to accidently enter vales into the cells with formulas.   Column F and Row 11 have cells with the formulas.  I want to be able to edit the values in the remaining cells and not mess up the formulas.

    1. Select all cells in the sheet (CTR+A)

    2. On the Home tab, in the Alignment group, click the small arrow to open the Format Cells popup window (CTR+1)

    3. On the Protection tab, uncheck the Locked check box, and then click OK.

    4. Choose the Cells you want to lock them (the one contains the formula), then
    5. On the Home tab, in the Alignment group, click the small arrow to open the Format Cells popup window (CTR+1)
    6. On the Protection tab, check the Locked check box, and then click OK.
    7. In the Review tab in the ribbon, in the Changes group, click Protect Sheet
    8. In the Protect window, put a password if you want, then click Ok

Select the cells you want not protected - protection on is default.
Press Ctrl+1 (or select Home: [Cells] Format: Format cells...)
    Tab Protection
    Uncheck Locked
    Select Review: [Protect:] Protect Sheet
NB. you do not have to add a password string
That's it. You may now use tab key to move between unprotected cell.
And... before protecting the sheet, you may also use Home: Cell Styles to hint about which cells are calculated and which are for input.
