Windows 10/11 Auto installing “LG Monitor App Installer” LG Monitor Support Application Drivers”.
This is the most immediate solution. The software often installs with an uninstaller. Look for the LG monitor app in your programs and features or add/remove programs. Be aware that the monitor may not function optimally without the software, though basic display should work.
1.This does not solve the main issue. The fact that this is happening in the first place is the issue. Very short sighted of you to say “just uninstall it”. Bandaid solution. Plus it will leave remnants in registry and program files as windows has a terrible software management system.
2.Trust me this monitor will function completely “optimally” without LG app installer. In fact my pc will run better with one less process running in the background. This bloat did not install itself in 2023-24 when I was using these screens and they worked perfectly. Their color depth worked, VRR worked, (Gsync) High refresh rate worked. Did not have software issues until someone decided to push a button at Windows Update HQ and mess it up.
