Stop advertising *nix to us. This is a forum from MICROSOFT about MICROSOFT WINDOWS. We are discussing a MICROSOFT WINDOWS issue with our CPU's. We don't need to keep getting our email notifications blown up by fanboy posts. Take it somewhere else. It is NOT a solution to our issue. It is just an off-topic excuse to try and gain *nix followers.
That being said, proposed workarounds exist and have been mentioned several times here. Switching to another operating system is NOT a workaround or solution. That does not FIX the problem. This topic exists because these users WANT to use the operating system being discussed with their CPU's. Suggesting that we just abandon that is a blatant waste of our time.

Well said, SugarDx. My computers are tools, not toys. I don't want them to become a hobby. I just want them to perform tasks. When I get the urge to play, I grab my guitar or build a piece of furniture.
