I bought. Mac Book Air and kept it less than a week as they are useless if you plan on using it for media gathered from various sources, heck you can’t even save legit Netflix content to watch offline. The reason of course even more outrageous as Apple is more or less cornering you to subscribe to Apple TV, which I will add allows you to save content to watch offline. I would gladly by a MacBook Air if I could wipe it and run and Windows 10. By the way none of Windows simulators can override the content limitations that Apple forces on developers.
