The i7-7700K meet the minimun requierments to run Win11. But its not suported, Why?
jege41 How did you install Windows 11? by Windows Update? or Bypassing the Windows 11 requirements via registry?
How to install Windows 11 on a i7-7700K CPU in EASY STEPS
- Go on the Windows 11 Media creation tool download page at MS
- Download the tool
- Start the tool
- Choose to create an USB stick for an update on another computer
- Restart your computer and boot on the stick
- Update your Windows from the USB stick installation
- You will have to check a box at a moment saying you understand your poor little CPU is not officially supported, but it will work.
You will end up with a REAL Windows 11 official installation, not in insider program mode.
It will work forever (well, you know), and windows update will work.
I've been on 11 since more than a month and everything is great.

I'm pretty suer I know why the i7700K doesn't meet the requirements, most i7700K machines are DIY and they probably throw more error codes back to MSFT, thus the processor looks unreliable. I know my machine had a sleep issue for several years before I finally figured out that it was because of an aftermarket USB PCI card I added. I am sure I threw hundreds of reports back to MSFT due to that POS device. I'm not sure why users get so angry about such little 1st world issues, chill out dudes.
