Hello everyone,
I'm encountering an issue where Quick___Books on Windows 11 displays an error message stating that "icwrapper.dll failed to register" when updating Quick___Books .I've attempted such as reinstalling Quick___Books or updating Windows. However, the issue persists. Could anyone please advise on how to resolve this error?

hi fanin61074 ,
The error "icwrapper.dll failed to register" in Quick-Books typically occurs during installation or updates and is related to a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) file not being properly registered. This issue can stem from administrative permission problems, corrupted installation files, or conflicts with other software.
Solutions:
- Run as Administrator: Right-click the Quick-Books installation file and select "Run as Administrator."
- Reinstall Microsoft .NET Framework: Download and reinstall the latest version of .NET Framework from the official Microsoft website.
- Use Quick-Books Install Diagnostic Tool: Download and run this tool from the Intuit website to automatically fix common installation errors.
- Manual DLL Registration: Open Command Prompt as an administrator and enter regsvr32 icwrapper.dll to manually register the DLL file.
These steps should resolve the error and allow Quick-Books to install or update correctly.
