Help Surface Hub 3 Smart Cam Auto-frame
Hi Everyone,
I am new to the Tech Community and I'm reaching out to seek some insights regarding an issue we've encountered with the Surface Hub 3 Smart Cam. We've noticed that when using the camera in MTR mode, the auto-focus feature seems to be disabled.
This has been somewhat puzzling as it works as intended in W11 mode. We've already tried rebooting and resetting the Hub but the issue persists.
Thank you in advance for your help.
- Hi Andrea,
I could not reproduce this behavior on the Surface Hub 3. However, I have also noticed it on the Surface Hub 2 with MTR-W.
I recommend opening a support case with Microsoft.

- Joey2KCopper ContributorHi Andrea,
the Smart Cam Automatic framing is turned off by default on Windows 11.
To turn on automatic framing, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Manage Cameras> Surface Hub Smart Camera

The Automatic framing is working as intended on Windows 11.
Altough specifically in the MTR mode of the Surface Hub 3 it doesn't work, the camera displays in the meetings without using the auto-frame feature, it "only" displays the image with the widest FOV.
If you have any other suggestions it would be really welcome.
