Training Matrix Idea - help to execute?
I have been tasked with creating a training matrix for my company. The idea of this is, there will be a sharepoint list that includes all employees, one that has all job roles (and a list of skills with true or false values against them to show whether that skill/training module is needed for that job role) and then a main matrix sharepoint list - which will have each employee ID and then each training module, and also a requested date (for when the team leader wants the training to be complete) and a completed date.
The way that the training request will be submitted is through microsoft forums, but the part im having issues with is how to execute so that when the microsoft form is sent, the sharepoint will go into the job roles list, and then mark requested date in the matrix list as todays date for each training module that is set to true in the job roles list.
I thought about having this through powerapps, but I dont want to start creating the app and then further down the line find out what I need isn't possible.
NOTE: We will have over 300 training modules in the job roles table, so its quite a big task.
Can someone advise if this can be done?

meganpat149 did you get anywhere with this one? I've been asked to re-build our extisting training matrix (currently in Excel) in SharePoint but struggling to figure out where to start.

Chris Cundy I tested something out with an excel table and a microsoft form that with the help of a power automate would fill out the required fields but this didn't work so we are now looking at some more "out of the box" systems.

meganpat149 you could build a flow in Power Automate to get the form response and save the details into a SharePoint list. But to have a matrix front end you really are looking at building this in Power Apps.
