Sharepoint Online - Edit documents
Hi,
We have a customer which uses Sharepoint Online for documents and in one documentlibrary they are using check in-functionality.
We have an issue with one user where she can´t edit the documents in this library in the local installed office-suite. She can edit them in Office Online but as soon she´s open it locally it´s in protected view...
We´ve tried with repairs and so on, anyone of you that has seen this issue before and know what to do?

Hi,
We´ve fixed the issue now.
The function: Let Office synchronize files you work with was the issue here.
We inactivated that and now it´s working as it should!
Hi
Its worth checking that the user is logged in - check the backstage view to make sure they are logged in as the same user that they are using to access SharePoint

- They turn auto save off? IF they click edit does it work and allow save after the fact? This is old expected behavior, but I would expect it might do this with auto save turned off now.

Asked her to Control that setting. Thanks!
- Dean_GrossSilver Contributorwhat version of office does she have on her computer?

Hi,
She has Version 1810(11001.20074 click and run) and Business-version.
Could it be an issue with a certain version of office?
- Dean_GrossSilver ContributorIt could be, functionality varies between the editions and they are constantly fixing/breaking things.
