SharePoint Foundation 2019 On-prem Alert Issue
Hello! We have SharePoint Foundation 2019 on-prem with configuration database version 16.0.10377.20000. I am the new administrator for this SharePoint application. When site administrators configure alerts on Lists, they receive an error, "Sorry, something went wrong" and "You do not have an e-mail address". Also, when they go to follow a site, they receive the error "500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR". I have also noticed that when anyone goes to "About Me", the server switches from https://{name} to http://{servername}/my/person.aspx and the error "404 NOT FOUND" is displayed. Active Directory (AD) sync is properly configured and users have email addresses, from what is seen in the Central Administration portal. What the $@!#% is wrong with this server/installation? I greatly appreciate your help.

Very nice to receive your reply!
Regarding the first link, even though we have SharePoint Foundations 2019 (on-prem), I confirm that all users have email addresses. This is because we have AD sync enabled and that is working properly.
Regarding the second link, I have already reviewed this article and my response is basically the same; AD sync is enabled and all users have email addresses.
Thank you,
Anthony

Just one thing wanted to check, does the users facing these issues have their "my sites" created?
