Hello! We have SharePoint Foundation 2019 on-prem with configuration database version 16.0.10377.20000. I am the new administrator for this SharePoint application. When site administrators configure alerts on Lists, they receive an error, "Sorry, something went wrong" and "You do not have an e-mail address". Also, when they go to follow a site, they receive the error "500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR". I have also noticed that when anyone goes to "About Me", the server switches from https://{name} to http://{servername}/my/person.aspx and the error "404 NOT FOUND" is displayed. Active Directory (AD) sync is properly configured and users have email addresses, from what is seen in the Central Administration portal. What the $@!#% is wrong with this server/installation? I greatly appreciate your help.4.1KViews0likes17CommentsGlobal message for Sharepoint 2013 (foundation)
Hello, we are about to replace old sharepoint with sharepoint online. We want to keep the old SP version on for archiving for a limited time, but at the same time show a global message that "This version of Sharepoint is not supported anymore" or something like that. Is there a easy way to put a global message on all pages that is visible for all SP 2013 visitors? Thank you!777Views0likes0CommentsSP Foundation: Calendars/List/Tasks
I have a business partner who is looking to have a list where they track tasks that are assigned to their team members. This will include: Task name Task assigned to Opened date Due date etc They want the ability to view this as a standard list, with all tasks included - BUT - they also want the ability to view this as a calendar, with each person's assigned tasks represented in a different color. My first thought was Overlays - but then they stated they also wanted the ability to view all of the tasks in a complete list. They are running on SharePoint Foundation site. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!918Views0likes1Comment
